Does the pendulum move?

A: Yes it does.

A: Yes the pendulum swings.

A: What has to be assembled is, after a battery is put in the mechanism the dial has to be snapped into a black box on the main body of the clock, then the pendulum hung on the swing arm located on the mechanism, all of this takes about 47 seconds or so.

A: I warranty the clock mechanism for life, the pendulum operates using two magnates so there is no sound there. If the mechanism does start to click after some time I'll replace it. Most of the mechanisms are silent.

A: All my clocks are quite, no tick tock no chimes. Battery operated...
