California Contracting

Good Work Speaks for Itself. The Way We Treat People Should, Too.

Inviting a contractor into your home is a big decision. You're trusting someone with your space, your investment, and a vision of what you want your home to become. We understand that trust isn't something you automatically get. It's something you earn.

At California Contracting, we bring over 40 years and 3 generations of hands-on construction experience. Along the way, we've learned that doing good work is only part of what makes a project successful. How you treat people throughout the process matters just as much.

We know renovations can be exciting, but they can also be overwhelming. There are decisions to make, unexpected challenges to work through, and plenty of moving pieces. We believe homeowners deserve straightforward conversations, realistic expectations, and a contractor who listens just as carefully as they build.

From kitchens and bathrooms to full renovations and outdoor living spaces, we approach every project with the understanding that no two homes, or homeowners, are alike. We want to understand how you live, what matters to you, and what you're hoping to accomplish. Then we work together to make it happen.

We're a hardworking, down-to-earth team that genuinely enjoys what we do. We believe in being approachable, finding solutions, paying attention to the details, and treating every home with respect.

We don't believe a successful project is measured only by how beautiful everything looks when the work is finished. It's also about how you felt throughout the experience and whether you'd feel comfortable calling us again.

Because at the end of the day, it's not just about what we build. It's about the people we're building it for.

**★★★★★ — Helen Dudics, Nov. 2026**

> Jonathan and his family were the best to work with. They recently transformed our outdated kitchen into our favorite room in the house. Jonathan listened carefully to our vision, offered fantastic design and layout advice, and delivered impeccable workmanship. The team kept the workspace clean, communicated clearly every step of the way, and finished right on time. Highly recommend them to anyone planning a home renovation.
