> Our project was to update our home and add a sunroom where a porch had been in the house that we built 50 years ago. This is our forever home and we needed to do some things to help us continue to live here. We gave Joel and the staff at NJW our ideas and they were able to draw up plans and give suggestions based on area building codes and handicap accessability codes. We worked with Joel and the staff to get exactly what we wanted and everything was included in the specifications. We knew exactly what we were paying for and when we had a change order, we knew the price of that before it was done.
> We can't say enough about Kenny, our project supervisor. He was here every day working with other NJW staff or dealing with the various sub-contractors that were used. He scheduled the various subs that kept the project going and on time. We were also impressed with the work of the sub-contractors that were used. Kenny was our communications person for everything and made this project go so smoothly.

> We are completely pleased with NJW Construction and the remodel project this company completed for us. Our Buckeye Lake house garage apartment needed multiple improvements to make it a safe and functional living space. The NJW team was open with communication, kept us informed of proper upgrades and worked with us every step of the project. The end result provided us with a half bathroom, heating/cooling system, firewall and a fantastic new deck. I would recommend NJW to anyone wanting to work with a great company.

**★★★★★ — Mark & Debbie Stack, Feb. 2018**

> We are thrilled with our home remodel! From planning to completion, everyone we worked with was respectful of our home, communicating clearly along the way. NJW used their time and resources efficiently throughout the process to mininmize downtime, and their craftsmanship was outstanding. NJW is truly as good as their word, a rare find these days!

**★★★★★ — Susan Lamp, Nov. 2017**

> NJW was an excellent choice for our remodeling project. From the initial design discussion to the punch list, the company was professional with excellent communication. Joel (owner), Kelsey (designer) and Greg (supervisor) all helped make our project: new stairway and new kitchen a reality.

**★★★★★ — Kellie Toole Interior Design Ltd, Oct. 2017**

> The staff at NJW Construction are incredibly thorough and pay attention to detail. As an Interior Designer this quality is of utmost importance to me. My clients hire me for my expertise and vision. I need a reliable contractor who respects that vision and does their very best to bring it to life. It's remodeling so there are always bumps along the way, but NJW does their best to minimize these issues and takes care of it immediately without drama. They also brought insightful solutions when I needed them most. Thanks you so much NJW for your past help and I look forward to working with you again!

**★★★★★ — Karen Patterson, Jan. 2017**

> We had a small job--only needed tile floor, toilet, and vanity replaced in a bathroom, but Joel and the team made us feel like a priority to them. Everyone I encountered, on the phone or in person, was helpful and professional. And our bathroom looks perfect. We really appreciate NJW's work, and we would use them again.

**★★★★★ — Madison H., Dec. 2016**

> Our new build experience with NJW was amazing, they helped us build the home of our dreams! The process went so smoothly with them, We couldn't imagine working with anyone else. When we first met Joel we imidiately clicked with him, it was like we had known him forever, he and his team are such down to earth people and always make sure you are 100% happy with everything they do. We love our home and couldn't be more proud to say that NJW built it!

**★★★★ — Tina P, Oct. 2016**

> NJW Construction remodeled our dated 1980's bathrooms. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Stacey, helped in each step of the design process and brought to our attention even the tiniest details that we wouldn't necessarily have taken into consideration. Our supervisor Greg, was professional and courteous and keep us in the loop as the project progressed. We are so pleased with the finished result and would recommend NJW Construction to anyone that is looking to have a professional home remodel project addressed

**★★★★ — Jennifer, May 2016**

> NJW Construction helped us build our beautiful new kitchen with custom cabinets and a granite countertop. Joel listened to all of our ideas and his team built the kitchen we wanted. They were timely about addressing all of our concerns and Joel even helped us resolve a conflict with another company we had hired for flooring. We were one of their smaller jobs, which we sometimes felt, but we chose them because we wanted to go with someone who we knew would do things the right way and make it look good in the end. Hiring them was certainly a wise decision. Our project finished on-time and on budget.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Who is the manufacturer of the cabinetry? Is there a color number?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Cabinetry was custom built and finished, so there is no color number.

**Q: Love the windows. Are they functional or fixed? Sliders?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: These are awning windows.

**Q: Flooring and granite** *(in Photo Questions)*

This looks FABULOUS! Can you share the flooring and granite?

A: The granite is Jaguar and the flooring is a ceramic tile that the homeowner purchased. Unfortunately we do not have that information.

**Q: Where can I buy that green back splash** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you direct me to the supplier of the green back splash.
Thank you

Marian
margodwin2@gmail.com

A: This tile was purchase locally through Hamilton Parker - Columbus, OH. (in 2014)
The product is by Island Stone - Waveline BG4, Seagrass.

**Q: How high are the ceilings?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What guided the decision for the top cabinets and how tall are they? What is the size of the window? Does the window operate as a pass-through?

A: Ceiling height in this kitchen is only 7'-6" tall. The window is approximately 24" tall and the upper cabinets are 21" tall. The client and the architect worked hand in hand to maximize the cabinetry within this fairly compact kitchen. To open the room a wall was removed (where the peninsula exist currently) and the stove wall did not receive closed in cabinetry. These two decisions opened the room tremendously, however that minimized cabinetry storage. Thus, cabinetry above the window was desired. To answer your final question the windows do not operate as pass through windows. These are awning windows.

**Q: Is the countertop stainless steel?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Yes this kitchen has custom built stainless steel counter tops.
