Shiva designed and renovated our entire main floor. The work included removing and adding walls, complete renovation of the kitchen, new powder room, new staircase, new floors throughout the main floor, removal of stipple from ceiling, new fireplace, entertainment unit, and product selections. A renovation of this size can be very stressful and daunting, but Shiva made the process simple and fun. Her tradespeople were a pleasure to work with and always made themselves available to answer questions. Shiva was always onsite to ensure that the work was completed to her satisfaction. Although there were unforeseen problems along the way, Shiva dealt with them in a professional and timely manner. She was able to unify the space by eliminating sunken floors and raising the floors to a “level playing field” and covering it with reclaimed pine from the Ottawa River, stained charcoal brown.
