We have a commercial office space that is separated between 2 floors. The 2nd floor is mostly original to 1929 and the main floor was updated in the early 80’s. Because our project was larger and consisted of over half our space, it was really helpful to have someone give us a hand with all the moving pieces of the design so I could focus on all the other moving pieces of the project. I am so impressed with Happy Interior Group I would consider them for jobs of any size. They were flexible with initially paying hourly so we could see the Design Board before committing to anything. From the beginning they seemed to grasp our design theme to match our 1920’s building. They didn’t try to push their own sense of style, but really looked at how finishes would work with the whole space. They gave great suggestions in tying the new in with the old, and worked hand in hand with our Architect and General Contractor to make sure things worked. They gave multiple examples of each idea and didn’t mind if we asked them to pick out something else, or even re-pick it. Abby worked with us on everything from big to small. From carpet, furniture, cabinetry, and lighting, to getting the cabinet and hall table décor. To keep expenses down she offered to get the décor from Home Goods/Target and personally arranged it in the space. She even found a vendor to re-create the custom 1929 lead glass transom above our storefront windows. There wasn’t anything that was too big or small, or out of their “wheelhouse” to help with. She was quick to follow up on any request, invoice, or planning vendor site visits. Abby was very professional and made time to meet with installers to make sure all items received were accounted for and that vendors knew exactly what the plan was.
