Tamara was very accommodating. We clearly stated what would be the scope of work and cost for phase 1. Having Tamara on day 1 was great in so many ways. Instead of feeling paralyzed by this huge project that lay ahead, Tamara helped guide me through the process. She was methodical in her approach. We started off with a questionnaire and conversations so that she could understand how I live, what I need in terms of functionality, what I want in terms of style and my budget. She presented several schematics to me and my husband and after a few meetings, we had our floorplan. She was always available to answer questions and explain the renovation process to me, offer style guidance and suggest vendors that were in-line with my style and budget. Though I only hired Tamara for phase 1 of my project (I start demolition in 1 week) I do occasionally ask her for a sanity check on design questions and she continues to give me thoughtful insight and guidance. She got my project off to a great start. The main feedback we have received on the kitchen is 1. it's beautiful! and 2. It looks bigger! It does look bigger even though we did not change the footprint of the kitchen because Tamara designed the kitchen island countertop larger, by extending it into the dining area where there was plenty of room. Adding a countertop waterfall made the whole kitchen look more finished and purposeful. We're very happy with our kitchen and the experience of working with Tamara on it.
