During the refrigerator and freezer install, the trim was installed with a 3 inch gap. Both the installer and the salesperson argued with us that it was normal to have this gap. It is now 5/30/2018 and our Whirlpool refrigerator and freezer doors still have dents. Allsouth has come out 3 times to replace the doors only to bring out replacements with dents or scratches. After waiting over 2 months this last time on replacement doors, I called to find out when they would arrive. Allsouth had no record of us needing doors. Whirlpool told them to replace the entire set. When they delivered them, they just dropped them off because they failed to send out installers. After speaking with Jamie Green, Director of Operations, I can see why nothing is getting done. This was on a Saturday on the 11th....the sales person advised that we would have a call from the warehouse on Monday to let us know about setting up a time to deliver the units.......when we did not have a call on Monday I called on Tuesday...the sales person seemed annoyed I called and advised that the unit where not in the warehouse and that we would get a call soon so we could set up a delivery. We called one other time on Friday just to see if we could get a ETA.....they never called us back. My husband's health deteriorated over the weekend(cancer) and he is now in hospice at the house. Allsouth called while i was at the hospital making arrangements to advise that they would deliver the units on Friday....then called back and adv that no it would be on Monday.....I have called the manager and the sales person to see if anything could be done to make this happen a little sooner due to i cannot even wash linens from my husbands bed.....no call back as of this moment...very unhappy that they could not at least advise this would take 16 days to get a product we paid cash for. **★ — Susan Wing, Nov. 2016** > Bought Samsung refrig. a little over a year ago from Allsouth. Frig was on sale due to a small dent on door. After frig was delivered I realized there were no papers so I just printed a manual online. Well, this a.m. the freezer door broke so I called Samsung to see what the warranty was and if my frig was still covered. It turns out my frig is 7 years old!! I called the store and was told they probably got the frig from another store and so what, even if it had been a brand new model I'd still be out of warranty. So, I ended up paying for a 2009 model > when I thought I was paying for a 2015 model (with a small dent). No wonder the handle broke it'd had probably been opened and closed who knows how many times. They all look great. But the $2500 microwave stopped working after 7 months. Though still under warranty, it has taken over two weeks, going on three based on current promises, for All-South to get the part and repair the microwave. > > A. I have never had a microwave fail. So I question the quality of the Thermador product. > B. When I purchase a high end product from a high end dealer--whether AllSouth or Tom Williams BMW/Lexus/Audi--I expect prompt high quality service when something goes wrong. It did not happen in this instance. The service has been neither prompt nor high quality. > So, while we like the outward appearance of the new kitchen--the service is subpar, and the quality of the product is "up in the air." > > UPDATE! To our relief, this review caused All South's service team to jump into action. They arrived the next morning, removed the microwave, took it back to their shop, replaced the defective part (I think by removing one from a new microwave rather than waiting another week for the Thermador part to arrive) and installed our microwave the same afternoon. Kudos to the service team and to the customer service folks who monitor reviews! Thanks for solving the problem with a little creativity. Nice recovery. Several companies call this a chocolate or shadow stained finish. We welcome anyone who would like to come by our showroom to view the many cabinet styles and finishes available and speak to one of our experts. **Q: Love the counter top! What is it?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Alaska White granite. This is a beautiful piece of granite. Please keep in mind that fabricators may have different names for this look. There are several granite slabs that look very similar and they are best selected by visiting a granite yard to pick your specific slab.
