**★★ — Jeff Zack, May 2024**

> Beware! We had Heller do a large custom kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. The primary reason for the 2 rating, is they've refused to address an improper install on an under the sink slide out drawer. A clearance of 1/16" was all that was left between the slide out and the sink P-trap. The drawer should have been installed lower, or a notch cut for allow proper clearance. Heller had denied all responsibility, and refuse to answer my request to speak with the owner. The P-trap shifted, hitting the drawer, caused a leak, and ruined it. There was also a few other issues that Heller wasn't customer focused on: install of the light rail (insisted that leaving a gap/caulking vs. notching of this feature normal, it is not! After back and forth, they agreed to do it correctly, and it was simple and looks great), and a few drawers that auto close/fit isn't correct on that they insist is "normal". Cabinet quality is fine, but NO true customer service. I'll add this was a $50K book of business.

> An awful experience. Heller was used by my custom home builder and the experience From start to finish was terrible. Our "designer" was Brian who was in person seemed reasonably knowledgeable but was extremely disorganized and completely incapable of communicating in a professional way that you would expect for a high end project (Think entry level home depot level for how we were treated) . Throughout the project we tried via email to coordinate details, but due to Brian's complete his lack of communication skills we frequently had to just show up at Heller offices unannounced to get him to understand the most simple of requests.
> Throughout the project silly stupid mistakes from the lack of attention to detail were made and numerous errors.
> In some cases the cabinets were damaged and needed to be replaced (but we had to demand). Drawers were misaligned which required numerous visits to get them straight and eventually the builder just fixed them as did they with several other issues.
> The countertop installation team made horrible decisions (placement of seams/cuts), damaged the countertop (cracked) and scratched the material badly. There were specific instructions for them to contact the homeowners to make decisions but they just did what they wanted and cut material in the wrong places.
> In summary a very unprofessional job by anyone's standards. We had to demand Heller replace the damaged slabs.
> As a final insult to us, we asked about the paint type and color for cabinets so we could touch things up and got a "we never disclose that our customers".. Really I'm trying to help you out?Complete lack of customer focus by heller.
> Working with heller on a high end spec project was an awful experience and I would never recommend working with them either directly or through a builder. But whatever you do keep them out of your high end showcase project

**Comment from Heller Cabinetry:**

> Steve, I'd like to apologize for the problems you experienced with our company on your new home project. We take a lot of pride in our work and always strive to make the overall process as stress free and seamless as possible. I agree the quality issues and delays we faced with the granite fabricator were unacceptable, but I was working behind the scenes with your builder to secure new material and pressure that company to complete your project correctly. Even though we no longer employ that company we did hire them for your project and I again apologize for the issues. On the note about touch up paint, we will gladly order you another touch up kit if needed. We're not holding back the paint codes, the manufactures don't give them to us because they use a two part catalyzed paint process that wouldn't match with a single stage paint from a local supplier. Best bet is to bring a door to the paint store to be matched. Please contact me directly if you have any outstanding issues or future problems, I want to assure you we always stand behind our products and workmanship.

> We were recommended to Heller by our son. We met with Chris and after several meetings, came to an agreement on kitchen cabinet product we wanted. It was delivered in a totally acceptable time frame, just a few days prior to the removal of our existing kitchen. All the parts were shipped properly packaged and the assembly by the installer went very quickly with all parts fitting exactly. It was a good product. One problem was experienced. The self-closing trash door would not completely close. Heller sent their workman for a number of times but the problem would not resolved at no fault of theirs. They ordered new hardware but it still would not close. The factory was notified and within several weeks, a completely new upgraded cabinet was received and has worked well ever since. I highly recommend Heller and their staff

**Comment from Heller Cabinetry:**

> Thank you Frank! Glad we finally got that trash mechanism ironed out for you guys!

**★★★★★ — Diana Scarincio, Sept. 2018**

**★★★★★ — Tim Thomas, April 2018**

> Great Service and excellent installation of our semi-custom cabinets. Thanks again to Chris and the larger Heller team for providing such a great buying and installation experience. They followed through and followed up after the delivery. Any issues we had (which were minimal) were promptly resolved by the team members. Absolute professionals that care about customer service.

> I am a local Interior Designer and recently completed a project with Heller Cabinetry. Together, we created a very unique space for a dot.com company called Cinchshare. Heller was hired by the GC and this was my first time working with them, but my experience with this company was absolutely fantastic! Chris Leach was open to every unique idea we had and provided many of his own helping to make this space truly one of a kind! Their installers were incredibly professional and punch list items were handled quickly as well. As a professional in the design/build industry it makes my job so much easier when you work with a company such as this who is organized, delivers on-time and pays attention to every detail both in the design phase as well as the installation! I would highly recommend this company again to anyone.

> We were very pleased with the entire Heller Team with picking out our selections with our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room cabinetry. After installation, we were immediately taken care of with action on the few corrections we had. The Heller Cabinetry is a beautiful addition to our new home.

**★★★★★ — Cindy Moran, Jan. 2017**

> Chris @ Heller Cabinetry was very knowledgeable and saw our design vision from the very beginning. The cabinets fit perfectly in our new home. The quality and workmanship were exceptional. Thank you Heller Cabinetry!

**★★★★★ — Grace Fox, Jan. 2017**

> Great product lines and showroom. Very easy to work with on small or large scale projects. Would highly recommend working with Chris but all of the staff are ready to assist you,

**★★★★★ — Hoyt Byrum, Jan. 2017**

> My wife and I have remodeled our kitchen in phases and during each phase Chris Leach has been a joy to work with. He is incredibly competent, creative, works well with his clients when there are budget limitations and he put us in some high end quality cabinets for a price we could afford. The installation of the products went flawlessly and we have confidently referred Heller Cabinets to all who inquire about who did our remodel.

**★★★★★ — Nancy Whiting, Jan. 2017**

> Working with Chris was awesome. He really listened and helped create the look I was hoping for. He spent as much time as I needed to make sure each room was perfect. I am very happy the way everything turned out.

**Comment from Heller Cabinetry:**

> Thanks Nancy! Working with you, on your beautiful project, was truly my pleasure :)

## Community Q&A

**Q: Is there a support beam inside this cabinet?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi Gillian!

No, there is not. It is intended to create the illusion that the cabinet IS the support...but it is purely aesthetic.
I hope that helps!
Chris

**Q: Lights** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where did they get the lights or what are the lights called?

A: Hi Whitney!
We did not provide the lighting, but I would imagine they came from House of Lights in Melbourne, FL. I hope that helps!
Chris

**Q: Please tell me the wood type and stain? Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Good morning. The wood is maple, and the stain is cashmere with a van dyke glaze.
Thanks for looking!
Chris

**Q: What brand cabinets and the door syle please?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi there. The cabinets are made by Shiloh Cabinetry, and the door style is Richmond, in Beaded Inset construction.

**Q: what is the name of the countertop color pls** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi! This granite is called "Hawaii". Hope that helps!

**Q: What is the backsplash for the kitchen?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the backsplash?

A: Hello! The backsplash is a split-face honey onyx mosaic.
