After speaking with their crew at the home show for only a few minutes, we could tell they had the same values, integrity, and high standards that we were looking for. They were receptive to our non-traditional kitchen ideas and were excited to bring our vision to life. Everyone, at every phase, showed us patience and respect. The planning and contract negotiation phases went really well with lots of good suggestions, explanations, and communication. Halco’s subcontractors were experts in their trades and were punctual, careful, professional, and cleaned the job site every day. The speed with which our project was completed, despite some unexpected roadblocks, was amazing. They kept us on track with gentle nudges and we rarely had to do the same for them because they were always one step ahead of us. Communication was great, especially with the Buildertrend app. This project exceeded our expectations and we are incredibly pleased with everything they did for us. The cabinets are made by Woodland, exact color combination is unknown but simply an off-white paint with a dark brown glaze. We typically don't use this entrance, we walk in from the garage, but when we have company they come to front door. I was just wondering what else I could do with this space to make it look nice and so the front door won't hit anything when it swings inward. Thank you for any help/suggestions!! A: We agree to add a nice thin table that slides right up against the opposite wall from the bench. Rugs are always warm and welcoming, a bright color and pattern would give a nice pop to the entrance. Baskets could easily be slid underneath the bench creating extra storage space for shoes, hats/gloves, dog leash, while also looking contemporary.
