They installed 5 windows on our house and overall they did an excellent job. Excellent company. **★★★★★ — John Young & The 'Metro DC For Sale' Team, Feb. 2016** > I've used Quality Window and Door a few times now for both replacement windows and exterior doors. Their name is accurate--they sell high quality products like WeatherShield and have a wide selection of styles. Being a Realtor, I see LOTS of bad windows in homes. It's usually the Home Depot vinyl-clad windows that people install because they don't want to spend the extra money it takes to get a quality product. So many of these big box hardware store windows use cheap seals that fail quickly and make the windows look permanently fogged. Other window contractors like Thompson Creek run discounts like 50% off and you have to wonder...how much are their windows marked up if they constantly run promotions like this? Quality Window and Door isn't the cheapest but you get what you pay for. I will also say that their installers are excellent and do nice, clean work and pick up after each job. We had a complicated window job due to owning an old 40's house and didn't want to remove all of the window frames (because of lead paint). Their installers were able to custom trim the sills to fit the new windows and use the existing frames. The final install looked incredible. I highly recommend them--especially their salesman Dennis Dunn who is pleasant, knowledgeable and prompt. **★★★★★ — Harry Dovo, June 2015** > Quality Window and Door provides the best quality windows and doors in the area. Their service is also the best! Hands down, they are THE company to use for your windows and doors. There's much competition in this field but this company surpasses them all by a long shot. Quality Window and Door staff have a way to make working with them both efficient and FUN! Keep up the great work! **★★★★★ — Kevin Knapp, July 2014** > Great customer service and attention to detail. We had all of our Windows and External doors replaced. The work was completed in only 4 days including a beautiful new Bay window. **★★★★★ — buzzym, July 2014** > Having worked with the ownership and staff at QWD they are the consummate professional dealer in the Washington Metropolitan area for you window and door needs. > Service Before, During and After the sale will leave you a satisfied customer. **★★★★ — Halpern Architects, July 2014** > Quality Window and Door has provided windows and doors on a number of the projects that Halpern Architects has designed. In our area, there are many companies that sell windows and doors. What distinguishes Quality Window and Door is the large number of manufacturers that they represent and the expertise and willingness to take the time provide information to help steer the selection of the right product or range of products for the specific project. > > Once ordered, Quality W&D delivered the products as ordered, when they said they will deliver, in good condition, and stands behind their products should an issue arise. This is true whether a larger new home or a smaller project like the sunroom addition (illustrated) that they recently supplied. **★★★★★ — curbappealofmaryland, July 2014** > Nick was very helpful in ordering and delivering exactly what we needed at a competitive price. I would definitely recommend this company. **★★★★★ — ninafen, July 2014** > Great Company to do business with. We purchased Weathershield windows from them for our last house which was a remodel. Recently, my husband and I purchased windows (Weathershield again) for a new house we are building. Our salesman, Nick, even instructed our framers on the proper way to install our windows. Professionalism and wonderful follow-up after installation. They even repaired some minor issues that were our fault free of charge. I highly recommend Quality Window and Door. **★★★★★ — Lindsay Odea, June 2014** > Great Work! Everyone on the QWD team was great and my new windows are beautiful!!!!! Easy process, Great price and beautiful outcome. **★★★★★ — Masterworks Window Fashions & Design, LLC, Aug. 2013** > Jim Brooks, of Quality Window and Door, Inc., in Fairfax, VA, is an experienced window replacement professional. He is personable, knowledgeable, and prompt in followup and answers to questions. His expertise was invaluable, and a main reason we went with Weathershield windows when replacing windows at our home last year. We are very happy with the windows, and expect to order the rest which we need within the next year. ## Selected projects - [Modern Windows in Eastern Maryland](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/modern-windows-in-eastern-maryland-pj-vj~585035) - Location: Bozman, MD - Photos: 8 - Description: This project, designed by McInturff Architects, features Weather Shield aluminum-clad windows with modern styling.
