On both occasions he did a superb job, on time and left the place impeccably clean. He and his wife wife, Bea, were a pleasure to work with. Several neighbors had Ron Eldon work on their properties. Being very fussy, after I saw the quality of his work, I knew that Ron was the guy I wanted for my job. After Ron got started, it was found that many of my joists had serious rot damage, so they needed replacement, too. Ron covered the tops of all my new joists with ZipTape, to protect them from any rain water that falls between the new porch boards. The new boards and railings are Azek material which is nearly maintenance free and should last for many years. Ron did not disappoint - he's a true craftsman who takes pride in his work. Other pluses are that he is very neat and respectful of the property and stays on the job until it is completed. He does not leave after a few hours to go elsewhere. Ron's integrity and workmanship are outstanding and he offered design advice and gave honest opinions. With one item he stopped working in order to confirm with me that it was as I would like it.
