I am the fortunate owner of a condominium situated in a 100 + year old historic building. Undertaking a total condo renovation this past year was at first blush daunting; however the most remarkable transformation can be seen in the new exquisite curved kitchen. Imaginatively built into the rounded turret of this challenging space, Pomerantz Woodworking’s’ unique and meticulous craftsmanship is evident in every inch of every element, throughout the functional kitchen space. And to boot, working with the team at Pomerantz Woodworking has been the ultimate professional experience. > We just completed a total kitchen renovation in which Pomerantz Woodworking played a integral role. We honestly could not have better things to say about this company. One of the biggest challenges from the start of this project was getting the style of the cabinetry correct for the space. Our personal tastes tend towards contemporary/modern, but our home, being built in the 1940's, does have some more traditional characteristics. It was important for us to chose a builder who would be able to bridge this gap for us. One of the differences we found with this company, was the time, effort and care the design team put into our project in order to accomplish this huge task. They were there for us every step of the way in order to get all the details just as we desired and in a way that was appropriate to the house. **Q: What type of wood was used for cabinetry?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: That is forest salvaged "wormy" grade VT butternut panels with select grade butternut door frames.  We have done several kitchen projects using this wood, which is slightly soft but has great charm and natural color.  I think I have some other projects on our website with the same wood.

**Q: What is the room demensions of just the kitchen area** *(in Photo Questions)*

I am thinking about a kitchen remodel, a gut job and looking for a layout like this.  I am thinking that my room is a bit smaller though.  Also how large is the island?

A: The kitchen cabinet "foot print" is 14' (sink wall) by 10" (fridge wall).  The island is 8' long by 40" deep and there is about 42" between island and sink counter.
