## Community Q&A

**Q: Feedback on range hood design** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am designing a range hood to compliment a La Cornue Cornufe 110, stainless with satin chrome and brass accents. Here's the initial sketch to scale reflecting simple trim- I didn't want to embellish the hood too much as I don't want it to take away from the beauty of the range. Seeking feedback/suggestions before it's made. Thanks!

A: Looks great!  maker sure you have at least 71/2 inch inside the hood in the top area,  most kitchen hood fans requires minimum of 7 inch duct(metal pipe), anything smaller may not pass inspections and will make lot of air noise.  Good Luck

A: You can do either option
But in this case we did underground gas pipelines and came up right under the table

**Q: Need help picking exterior paint to match roof tiles** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are unsure of what to do with the exterior of the new house that we are in the process of purchasing. We have a rather light barrel shaped tile roof that isn't going anywhere for now (unfortunately). What I don't like is how the house looks so washed out and singularly colored. I would love to do some darker paint to give the house a bolder look be worry how this will look with such a light roof. Would love thoughts and opinions,
