My wife had been looking at this "one" house in Eagle Point on the net while we where in Southern Cal. and we could not believe the quality we were seeing. When we moved to OR we found the builder and what a find. We have in the past always been afraid of having a home built because of all the horror stories you hear about, but that did not happen. Mark Wickman, Owner of Vision Homes, helped us through every step of the building process in a way that even amazed our real estate agent. Mark actually spent hours with us, on various, days to help us select material for our home. The end result is that we have a beautiful custom built home with custom details that were built with precision, integrity, and great detail. We opted to avoid the "high speed" builders, due to the level of quality we expected. We worked with Rocky, Dave Stanley, Twila, and Guy to customize the plan to our tastes. They had the patience to allow us to fine tune the plan, for over a year, to avoid any changes during the construction process. Once the construction started, we made only 3 minor changes, thus saving construction costs and interest. This is an example the attention to detail that the Vision team put into the planning and construction. They were able to remind us of small details we had forgotten. At the end of the project, we had a beautiful home that is efficient and functional. A special thanks goes to their framing carpenters, Dan and Jim, whose accuracy is equal to a cabinetmaker. The quality was very high using time tested building techniques and materials. Rocky's "system" where all major design decisions are gathered early in the process (including color, fixture and furnishings), ensure as little rework as possible is needed in the building process. Another indicator of professionalism is a clean job site, which I observed on my job as well as subsequent jobs in our development.
