> I purchased a home from this contractor and I highly recommend NOT hiring this company.
> Their workmanship is very poor and they cut corners unnecessarily. For example, insulation was installed improperly and fell into the furnace, creating a dangerous situation. Vintage windows were replaced with extremely poor quality windows and installed improperly. Two different types of kitchen cabinets were installed that do not match in style or color. Rather than replace gutters, they adhered damaged rusted broken gutters that had fallen off. Instead of repairing windows that were not replaced, they were bolted shut. The wood floor was stained without proper sanding. Poor quality and inappropriate paint was used on attic wood floor. There are many more examples of this company's undesirable practices. Furthermore, the owner misrepresented his intentions, reneged on commitments, and was very difficult to deal with once the sale was complete. Please avoid any business with this company.

> GPH services has been a pleasure to work with. To begin with, Aaron provided detailed quotes with options for improving two very old bathrooms in my 1924 GPP Colonial. GPH services had the design expertise needed to problem solve a very small poorly functioning master bath. The two projects were staged to ensure that one functioning bathroom was continuously available. Aaron and Ryan are accessible, checking in on the progress frequently. They respond quickly to any questions or concerns. All of the work crews have been skilled, respectful and meticulously clean.
> If you are looking for a high quality home improvement contractor--look no further. GPH services is your crew.

> We hired GPH Services for a big project, converting the dining room and kitchen of our circa-1929 home into an open-layout family room/kitchen combo. Of course, the main wall we wanted to remove proved to be the backbone of our home, and it was a feat of engineering to make it happen. We'll definitely be calling GPH Services for our next project. Here are the things we liked most about Aaron, the owner, and his guys:
>
> \* Aaron will make sure the job is done right. On more than one occasion, he asked his subcontractors or team to do the work again and to a higher standard, when he wasn't happy with the first pass. As an example, we had gutter drain making a zigzag on the back of our house -- we weren't especially happy with it, but the subcontractor explained to us that there was no way around it, and it didn't bother us enough to make a fuss. The next week, the zigzag was simply gone. It's great having a contractor who looks out for the final result as much as you.
>
> \* Aaron is really easy to work with, which I think is especially important for this kind of job. What I mean by this is that we have an idea in our head of what we want, but little of the knowledge of what is possible or where the right balance of cost to quality is. Aaron does a great job of explaining the options, providing estimates, and giving his advice without stomping on the opinions of those who have to live with those changes. An example here was working out where the plumbing would go in our kitchen, since we were adding windows and removing walls. He showed us how he had solved the problem in previous jobs, and we not only solved our plumbing problem, but like the aesthetics as well.
>
> \* Besides all of that, Aaron and his guys always seemed to go out of his way to make the process as smooth as possible for us. Everyone was always very friendly and hard working. Several times, Aaron came over on a weekend or even late at night to solve problems that arose, like sudden water in the basement that clearly had nothing to do with his work (someone had shoved a bunch of tile pieces into a sewer pipe in our basement -- long story!) There are plenty of examples like this.
>
> So, while a job like this probably never goes 100% to plan, we were more than happy with GPH Services. The best recommendation I can give is that I hope we are lucky enough to work with them again, when its time to tackle the next part of the house!

> I had my kitchen floor replaced, linoleum to wood. I had it done while I was out of town. They did a great job. The best was that my house was cleaner after the new floor went in than before I left. I expected to come home and have a lot of dust/sanding debris to clean up. There was none. The new floor is great.
> Thank you GPH Services

> GPH Services completely remodeled our smaller 2nd floor bathroom this past fall, 2015.
>
> They did a tremendous job and all aspects of the remodel were carefully executed with great attention to detail.
>
> Very pleased with final project and can highly recommended GPH Services.

> Aaron and his team of highly skilled professionals delivered above and beyond our expectations. Living in a 1920's era home, we hired GPH to renovate 3 full bathrooms...the Master, the Guest, and the 3rd Floor "mother-in-law suite". Since none of them had been touched in ~ 90 years, and the space available to get creative was minimal, we were unsure how exactly we were going to realize our vision. Aaron not only provided us with a variety of creative and functional options, but also insisted we look and speak with his clients to understand how his projects turn out. Once work began, the efficiency was impressive: Scheduling 3 simultaneous bathrooms (fully gutted) without impacting ability to still have one functioning for the family...complete demo with minimal dust / mess...replacing old galvanized pipes all the way to the basement...multiple crews (electrical, tile, glass, etc) all synchronized seamlessly. Final price was spot on to the estimate, and we could not be happier with the outcome. We will continue to highly recommend Aaron and GPH to anyone seeking a home renovation project - big or small.

> Aaron Whittaker is a TOP NOTCH, NUMBER ONE contractor. He is very skilled in the art of reconstruction and construction of any kind. His attitude of: I will do if as if it were my own home. He will always work within your budget and meet your deadline whenever possible.
>
> He is very professional and will supply a detailed report of what he will do and how.
> Aaron is very proud of his work and will show you what he has done in the past. His use of
> quality products is very important. Our experience has been of excellent service.

**★★★★★ — Franz Forster, Jan. 2016**

> Aaron Whittaker is the consummate professional. He has detailed knowledge of all facets of home construction/renovation. Upon moving into this house, GPH Services did major electrical, various plumbing, kitchen granite counter tops, new backsplash, a complete bathroom redo, new doors, base, door and crown moldings as well as extensive outside trim and siding replacement, major insulation upgrades and a complete fireplace renovation.
>
> An important point: to a man, his subs were not only excellent in their work performance, they were polite and pleasant to deal with.
>
> Aaron and his team have a can-do attitude and aim to please. We'll use them again.

**★★★★★ — tgreenwood07, Jan. 2016**

> The work by GPH services was outstanding. I was especially impressed by their attention to detail and to making sure that the work (the installation of new windows) was done right the first time.
> I hired the company a second time to install a door to my home plus much needed electrical work in my garage. The owner of the company was on hand each time to oversee the project.
> I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to other potential clients.

**★★★★★ — dfoy84, Jan. 2016**

> GPH completed 4 projects for me (1) Complete demolition and reconstruction of bathroom, (2) tear off and replacement of roof, (3) tiling and repair of foyer, (4) painting and other services for recreation room
>
> The cost of each project was very reasonable.
> We were very satisfied with the work and attention from this contractor.
> GPH completed each project timely
> GPH was very proactive with resolving any issues during the projects
> GPH cleaned all debris up the projects
> I would highly recommend GPH

**★★★★★ — lhogle, Jan. 2016**

> Aaron and GPH Services have served as an ongoing and delightful relationship with us. Words we would use to describe the company are thorough, craftsmen, patient, flexible, trustworthy, clean, respectful, using good judgment, professional and honest. Every repair and update to our 1929 home has honored its history, our needs, and enabled modern use. We highly recommend Aaron and his excellent company.

**★★★★★ — Cheryl Wesen, Jan. 2016**

> Aaron Whitaker is an exceptional general contractor. Aaron has completed two major renovation projects for us. The master bath was a big job. As was standard for the time, the original 1920s bath was built on 4 inches of mortar with the galvanized pipes imbedded in the mortar. Aaron’s team demoed all of this while minimizing dust infiltration to the rest of the house.
>
> Bath renovation is one of Aaron’s specialties. He has excellent design skills. Aaron’s subcontractors are great. The plumber is thorough. The piping is neat and clean even though it will be hidden by the floor. Aaron’s tile contractor is a artist, as well as, an accomplished tradesman. The glass contractor is also amazing.
>
> We had a large kitchen addition built fifteen years ago by another contractor(now retired). After a few years we were plagued by leaks. Our contractor tried different fixes, but to no avail. The leaks kept coming back.
>
> This summer, Mr. Whitaker approached the problem comprehensibly. A temporary roof was built over the addition. The entire deck was removed. The three A/C units were secured to the walls rather than resting on the flat roof. Other mechanicals were also revised to minimize roof penetrations. Mr. Whitaker used a careful contractor to install a rubber roof. Aaron’s copper contractor is amazingly thorough. I am confidant that the problem is finally resolved.
>
> Mr. Whitaker has also completed much more extensive additions in the neighborhood. Several of these projects have required installing steel beams with a crane.
>
> I recommend Mr. Whitaker for building projects both large and small.
