Welcome to Building By Design Group’s website. Established nearly 30 years ago by George Ferrell and David Barker, we quickly became a respected custom homebuilder known for paying close attention to detail on the most complex of projects. Over the years, several satisfied clients returned to Ferrell and Barker to construct a variety of building types. Today with a Registered Architect, Building by Design Group is designing and constructing new Commercial Buildings, Custom Homes and Worship Facilities for clients throughout Indiana. 

You will notice the words “Quality,” “Integrity,” and “Loyalty” on our logo, throughout our office and on our job signs. At Building by Design Group, these three core values have channeled our success over the past decades. We strive to design and construct well thought out, architecturally pleasing buildings which meet our client’s budgets and needs for several years to come.
