> Frank's Painting was hired because of all the rave reviews I saw on the internet and as as a 1st place winner of Bethpage's Best Of LI.  They emphasized the importance they place on the proper preparation but failed to live up to the hype.  While sone areas were done well other areas are poorly done. I have paint on new wood floors, on new satin nickel door hinges, dried drips on new window casings and baseboards. There is paint where no paint should be and areas that should have been painted but were not. There is also paint on newly laid marble floors.  They failed to prepare walls properly leaving noticeable imperfections even after they were brought to their attention. They never asked where I wanted to store leftover paint and took it upon themselves to put it in the garage near the door.  They failed to properly seal the cans.  When ny husband came home from work, not knowing the cans he knocked over a can and the paint spilled over the garage floor and the stone work in front of the garage. Frank did deduct  a a small amount from the balance owed for the spill and the wood floors.  I have since learned the amount is far from sufficient to cover the cost to  rectify the problem.Additionally, when putting things back after the paint job so many more damages were observed. I sent an email to Frank letting him know however now that he has been paid in full I have not heard back.
