> We've had the pleasure of building projects that Gary has designed dating as far back as the early 90s.  More recently, we've worked with him to build homes in Alys Beach, FL and along the beach in South Walton County, FL.  His aesthetic sense is immaculate and his attention to user experience and function makes the homes he designs a real pleasure to be in, and look at, too.  He also plays a pretty mean bass guitar!

**Q: Are these lime stone floors ?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Soo gorgeous

A: No. They are Dominican shell stone. Called Caliza or Coquina.

I live in the 30A area, and I have been in this home.  it is beautiful!  I have always admired the countertop and have looked everywhere trying to duplicate it!  Any help you can provide would be so appreciated!  Thank you.  Also is it honed?

A: I honestly don't know! This was spec'd by the interiors person. Alys Beach Constrcution may be able to tell you. I THINK it was honed and they used a bees wax finish.

A: It protects well but I believe it has to reapplied yearly.
