We interviewed a few designers and a few shops like Cornerstone. As we narrowed it down Cornerstone kept meeting our needs. Arlie was always very very responsive. Very detailed and listened to our wants, needs and desires. She had a few ideas of her own but when we said no, she listened. It did seem others just had their own vision and we weren't qualified to have any. Cornerstone does custom and that means if your walls are a weird size they can change things by 1/8" or 8'. Nothing was set in stone or "you can't have that because..." > > We had already done a ton of research and knew generally what we wanted. We needed somebody to take all our ideas and put them into something real. Gabriella and Arlie both did great work there. Cornerstone had lots of finishes to choose from, and we were able to add our custom pieces (crown, pulls) without any pushback or hassle. > > During the actual reno both Arlie and Gabriella showed up a few times and their installers are masters of detail. I measured, everything is true even though our house is absolutely not true in places. Beautiful. > > We had the inevitable challenges during a reno. Like drain pipes that weren't supposed to be there. They worked around and through the issues and the results met our needs and if you didn't know about them you'd never notice. We added a few things and even after when re loading our stuff back into the kitchen found a couple minor things we'd like to change. Right away they got them built and delivered.
