## About

I am a Texas-based photographer. My work as a fine art photographer centers on the dynamic relationship between landscapes and emotions, particularly the captivating scenes found at beaches and on mountaintops. Street scenes are motivating. Through my camera, I aim to present the beauty of these moments, revealing the interplay of light and movement that interact with the subject matter.

What excites me is how these natural elements evoke a sense of calm and introspection. Each image serves as a reminder of the fleeting nature of time, encouraging viewers to pause and appreciate the world around them. Influenced by the vibrant colors of the sky and the rhythmic sound of waves, I strive to convey narratives that resonate on a personal level, fostering a connection to both the environment and oneself.

I embrace a casual yet confident approach, allowing spontaneity to guide my compositions. reflecting my personality while embodying the unpredictability of nature itself. This method transforms each photograph into a journey, a moment captured in time, inviting viewers to explore their own interpretations and emotions.

My image will be delivered to you on archival paper, as a loose art print or on a canvas stretcher.
I love to assist designers and decorators and individual clients alike, to put the final touch on their magnificent spaces by providing wall decor that is sublimely perfect.
I work one-on-one, from near or far, with clients to customize the look for their walls.
I listen closely, have a visual 'notebook' that I create for them, and I will produce the art that tailors to their wants and needs.

**★★★★★ — Teri Brown, May 2017**

> Sometimes, Lady Luck is really on your side. I needed some photography work done well and quickly, and bumped into Terri and started a conversation. I learned that she was a professional photographer, and asked to see some of her work before letting her know the pinch I was in. It was stunning, and won me over. My next problem was going to be if I could afford someone in her league. Much to my pleasure, we could. I quickly booked her, and we had the funest shoot. She was completely generous with her time and listened well to our wants. Shorty there after, we had our beautiful proofs. The only problem was which picture to choose because they were all excellent. Delivery of the final product was much quicker than I anticipated, and I was struck by even that packaging our photos came in.

> Working with Terri was a real pleasure and we treasure her work.

**★★★★★ — kakim0, May 2016**

> This is a wonder photographer. She listens to the client. She goes out of her way and works hard to get the exact photograph that they want. I would highly recommend her art work. Terri is very disciplined and self motivated. She is very professional and organized. Her photography is very creative with a unique point of view.
> I would commission another project from this photographer.

> Terri has done a number of different pieces of art for me and they've all turned out great. She really does do a great job of making things come alive and turning ordinary pictures into something that you can be proud to have in your home. She turned pictures from a few of my trips into great wall panels that all fit into the travel theme of the family room of my house. The family pics and portraits of my 11 mo. old son have also turned out amazing.
>
> She does great work and you will not be disappointed with any of her products!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Bare walls - need help!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I'm finally done painting my formal dining room. But I am left with bare walls. The room is 15x13. 9' ceilings. Wall color is BM-Wedgewood Grey, ceiling accent color is BM-Atmospheric, trim is white. Chandelier is brushed nickle. I need something on the main large wall as well as between the china cabinet. Should I use a large mirror or artwork? Collage or 1 large piece? Window coverings are being made from my profile picture icon fabric. The fake plant is going, forgot to remove it before pics were taken. What about something on the floor, vase with twigs or something for interest?

A: I am a professional photog, just renovated my dining room and painted it with Benj Moore Buxton Blue, and have space to manage on my walls:) we have the same quandry! I am not a decorator!
I work with all kinds of art and options to present it: gallery wraps, custom size Thinwraps, clusters, framed art, the options are endless (and overwhelming!).
First step should be to decide what colors you want to introduce in your wall art. This is where you may have a little fun!
For mine I chose black and white gallery wraps sized for the walls, not off-the-shelf sizes! Then I used frames prints for the skinny spaces of some art my son brought me from a trip to Africa- thereby introducing some fun, bold colors that I took into my candlesticks and extra accessories.
I can help you decide what sizes of art, shapes, configurations, collages you want. I have software to sample looks before committing.
Heres my art website:
http://tbvisualcommunicatio.photoshelter.com/
You can contact me there. I can send you some sample 'looks'.
My pinterest board , 'Wall- Display ideas' also might help you.
Good luck!

**Q: What size are the canvases are used?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I would love to do this on our living rooms wall. Can you please share the size and thickness of the canvas art?
Thanks!!

A: The canvasses are 2.5 " deep. You can order wall canvas arrangements from a Tx. photog who creates them from your images, including artwork to make them 'fine art' look. She ships nationwide and offers boutique service. www.PhotographerInTheFamily.com
817-337-1619.
Hope this helps!

**Q: Great looking drapes. Where can I purchase them?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Where do I find the drapery rod like this? It is awesome!
