> I bought the MOST beautiful home in Tall Oaks that was built by the Hall Family. Not only was the home absolutely BEAUTIFUL, the Hall family are the best people!!! My parents have had the Halls build their homes as well. Jessica is an amazing decorator, very detailed, Josh is extremely attentive with the whole home building process, and John Jr. made every step of building my home a wonderful experience. I can't wait to buy another John Hall Home. I would never have another company build a home for me. The whole experience was one that will be with me forever. Thank you Jessica, Josh and John. I can't wait to move into my next John Hall Home!!!

> I live in Another state and am currently building a home, I have attended many home shows and open houses of our statewide builders. John Hall far exceeds any builder we have reviewed in our area. Their attention to detail and versatility of wood and paint bring a whole new definition to style and comfort. John Hall would've been our first pick if we would've been near there!

**Comment from John Hall Custom Homes:**

> Thank you Tamara. It would have been an honor to have built for you. We wish you the very best of luck with your new home.

> Amazing family owned business to build a house with! They work with your ideas to make your dream house a reality. We would build with them again in a heartbeat!

**★★★★ — sambrogio, Dec. 2014**

> We hired John Hall Custom Home Builders to build a custom home for us in St Charles. The organization in the field and deadlines were well managed! Help picking out design ideas and suggestions was very easy and helpful. With the exception of the siding subcontractor
> the very best thing about working with John Hall homes were the sub-contractors they work with, wonderful group of people and very easy to get along with, especially the electrician, plumber, concrete/excavator, trim guy and kitchen designer.

> From the very moment we met with John and his team to together conceptualize our project, through site selection, design and materials selection and finally, though the conclusion of the build process, our confidence in knowing that a high quality product would ultimately be delivered never waivered. John, Josh & Jessica's willingness to listen to our needs, respond to our questions and appropriately advise and guide, even as many decisions were made from half a country away (New Jersey), only helped to further our knowing that the home we would move into was exactly what we had hoped for. Having had to both relocate and build many times in the last 30 years, I can honestly say that our experience with John Hall Custom Homes has been the most pleasurable of all and that feeling continues as we now close in on our one year anniversary of living in our new home.

> John Hall Homes is an AMAZING team of people who sincerely care about and respect your needs as well as your homebuilding visions. From the moment we started the process on our new home, my husband and I would comment often that seeing the Hall family to discuss our plans was like visiting our own family! They sincerely cared about every detail often commenting to us "We just want you to be happy" and we know now that.. they really meant it!
>
> It was impressive to us that Josh/John or Jessica Hall personally came to the house each day to monitor the building process and would call or text us with any thoughts or updates. We were impressed by various comments made from personal friends and family members during the "pre drywall phase" that that our home construction and especially the attention to details were phenomenal.
> It wasn't just about being beautiful- the construction under that drywall was impeccable!
> We were also totally impressed with the trades that were brought in to do the work. How rare that every single person we dealt with throughout our home project was personable, friendly , caring and great fun to work with!
> We understand why John Hall Custom Homes has stood the test of time. They care about their clients, they wanted us as the customer to be happy above all else. They build a beautiful but most importantly an "outstanding quality" home.
> We hear people talk about regrets with their home builders or how difficult the process was..We are delighted to say it was not us! We would build with John Hall Homes all over again in a heartbeat!

## Community Q&A

**Q: I am concerned with how sturdy these boards v. Board with legs** *(in Photo Questions)*

I am hoping a woman who irons a lot can comment on how sturdy these boards are compared to a regular ironing board.

A: pkeo,
While I am not a woman, I am married to one. We do have the built in Iron A Way. It is not used as much in our home as we planned to, but it was not because the product is not sturdy. It can handle a lot of pressure, and downward force.
I would like to say that the reason we do not use ours often is because we just put one in. Meaning we did not take the time to properly look at how we would be positioned in the room, and the working Triangle of the space.
Like a Kitchen, your Laundry process has a work-flow to it. That was installed for a client 7 years ago, and they use it all of time because we specifically designed the space around their work-flow.
I hope this helps. We also own a Cabinetry & Design firm with more photos of the space. You can see them on Houzz at The Cabinetry Boutique.
Please check us out and follow us, as we will have a lot more pertinent information posted there in 2017.
Regards,
John Hall Jr.
Happy New Years!

**Q: The Laundry Sign** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where did you find the "Laundry" sign? Love it!

A: I believe at a Home Goods store 4 years ago.

**Q: Is the color of the roof true** *(in Photo Questions)*

The color of the roof looks so dark In this picture but when I have seen it in person it is much lighter, is the picture off?

A: It is Weathered Wood, You can never trust a photo for a color. Only use it as an inspiration. This shot was taken at night. The best way to choose your Roof color is to have your brick/stone/siding colors out and the roof sample and look at it in the shade and in bright sunlight. Colors will always look different.

**Q: Love the Colors. What is the color of the stucco and the trim?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hello, this a recent photos of a home we built 15 years ago, and the Stucco and Siding area actually both Custom Stucco Mixes. I am sorry, but I do not have the exact colors.

**Q: Can you tell me what type of floor this is?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Mr. Oak and Broad is correct.

**Q: Kitchen flooring** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type of flooring is this? Hardwood or engineered, and color please?

A: 3 1/4" Red Oak, Stained Sanded and Finished On site with 2 Coats of Poly.
