The art was drawn on canvas and the shower curtain is actual sail cloth. **Q: Upholstered and leather furniture** *(in Furniture)* A few years ago, I had a very bad experience with not one but two deliveries of a leather set... let's call it NYC collection from a reputatable chain... let's call it Stoneware shed. I love the store. I still shop in the store. But this collection in top grain leather smelled so toxic... like my home was an acetone factory taken over by skunks... I had to ask for an exchange. One month later, with smell no better than on first day, a new set was delivered. As soon as the plastic protective covers were removed... POOF! THE SMELL! I asked that both sets be returned. Thank goodness that was possible because I picked a quick ship returnable color. But my dreams of having this cool furniture grace my home were shattered. And I still dream of having cool leather furniture but not at the cost of our health. So my question is, what manufacturers have good Upholstered or leather furniture that don't offend the senses upon arrival, don't cause health problems, look good and last? I could go with a dark brown or espresso microfiber as well but what's on the inside can't be toxic. Even the furniture with which I replaced that leather set had a smell that fortunately went away after a few weeks. And that is from another reputable company... let's call it Tired Man. I would have changed out this furniture a few years ago but I was so disheartened by my experiences, I still have not. Any advice is welcome. A: Given the opportunity, it is always best to buy any upholstery where you can see it, sit on it and touch and feel what it is you're wanting. Hancock & Moore is an excellent upholstery and leather company for you to investigate. As an Interior Designer with 25 +years, I've used, sold and own their products. With multiple colors, samples and frames to choose from I'm sure you'll find the style, quality and craftsmanship you're looking for with little if any residual lasting oder **Q: Wowza** *(in Photo Questions)* Beautiful bed! Custom or available in Hawaii? A: The bed was custom sized to fit the space. Lovely room. A: The brand is an "off brand" and I was fortunate to find the last few available with all the necessary parts. Their are similar "looks" with other plumbing hardware manufactures out there.
