> Jon, Ray and the Boswell team did an amazing job. This project was a very tough one using a lot of advanced engineering principals all with a very modern design feel.  We had a false start with another contractor who wasted 12+ months on permits and wild subcontractor bids and constant starts and stops. We were at our wits end and decided to call Boswell.  They did exactly what was asked. Very rigid planning and stuck to a tight schedule. The craftsmanship was superb and looked exactly like it had always even there. Ray especially did an amazing job staying very personally involved with every detail and in the end this was worth the wait. Our kids still miss Ray and it is strange to not see the scissor lift in front of our house but I will absolutely be using them again.

The renovation involved building a new exterior staircase into the hillside connecting 3 floors of the home, a brand new kitchen, 4 new bathrooms, a new fireplace hearth and tiling and new wood flooring throughout the home.

I am curious what the wall is made of.

A: The wall is made of concrete, it is poured in place board formed concrete. The wall is formed with wood boards and the concrete is poured inside. The concrete dries and takes on the shape and texture of the boards. When the boards are removed you have a wall.
