One shower door was ordered in the wrong color. Replacement took forever. Installer was an hour and a half late for appointment time we were given. After second installment, I noticed the towel bar/handles did not align and one was not level. Even after adjustment, that one is not level and they basically said it’s the best they can do on what was supposedly a custom shower door for which they measured. > The mirrors are frameless and two of them have the perfectly finished edges on all four sides. Two of them have three perfectly finished edges and the fourth has been cut off and lightly polished and does not match the others. After four phone calls, two of which were never returned as promised, we were told that the cut mirrors were the industry standard and they would not replace them. Had the same style mirror installed almost thirty years ago in another home and all four sides were perfectly standard. Other builders have also indicated that their claim is not true. My advice…try a company with more integrity. **Comment from After Paint, LLC:** > Sue- > Thank you for your response. It is unfortunate that after several attempts and 3 trips to your home, we were unable to resolve your concerns and meet your expectations. We strive to maintain our longstanding excellent reputation of products and service with our builders and clients. The shower enclosure was ordered from an outside vendor and they shipped the wrong finish to us. I apologize that they missed the mark and we did our best to rush order in the replacement. I am confident that your builder was communicated with promptly and throughout the entire installation process as it is customary for us to do so. We've since followed up with him and he is unaware of any unreturned calls. Your builder was also on-site during one of the appointments in your home. Along with us, he inspected the mirror edge and stated that it was perfectly seamed and installed. He was quite satisfied with our work. Worth noting here is that we have installed thousands of mirrors over the past 30 years. This is the first incident in which a customer has taken exception with a seamed mirror edge. I apologize that this industry standard practice did not meet your expectation.
