> I hired JC Construction to do multiple projects (Including interior, exterior, structural and multiple other projects requiring a multitude of complex custom work required in difficult areas) on an extensive remodel on a 3 story modern Mediterranean style villa home built into a hillside overlooking San Luis Obispo.  John provided an excellent value with great attention to detail to preserve the integrity as well as the internal and external appeal of this custom home. I would highly recommend JC Construction for future jobs as they did a fine job on rebuilding large portions of the unique Architectual features of this challenging project.  5 Stars and would use again and recommend to anyone needing jobs from small remodels/additions to very complex situations requiring a wide breadth of experience and attention to detail !

> JC Construction was fabulous to work with!!   Our job was smaller, a pergola over the back patio, but we felt they treated us with the same importance and consideration as if it were a large contract.  They were dependable, efficient in what they did, and we ended up with a beautiful structure to enjoy.  Jonn and his crew were personable and professional.  Always taking the time to answer questions and explain what they planned to do. We highly recommend them to any who are looking for a contractor.  We do have future plans in the works, and JC Construction is who we will go to without a doubt.  We are looking forward to working with them again.

> JC Construction Initial project in 2010 for me was for a complete new roof diaphragm over existing flat roof at my home in Paso Robles Ca. The cost for this job was 56K. This was extensive and Jonn worked well with the engineers, the City of San Luis Obispo planning and inspection departments.. The job included removal of existing roof gravel and paper, rafter tails removed, closing all vents not being used, installing a new top plate, new trusses, and new metal roof, roof pitch went from 2 in 12 to 6 in 12.  New duct work was installed along with a new furnace and air unit, plus new wiring, also a new chimney had to be built. Like any work of this scope many problems arose, Jonn was able to come to quick and competent decisions to complicated problems. He worked well with all building officials, and sub contractors, he handled changes well and adapted to the needs of the homeowner.

> With all that said and done I used Jonn again in 2012 to do a complete remodel of my mother home built in the 1960’s. The cost for this job was 49K. This job was very extensive, moving walls, dealing with old pluming and electrical; installation for new fixtures through out the house; new cabinets, lighting; chimney; 2 new bathrooms; and new appliances.  I am sure I am leaving something out.

> We had a kitchen remodel where the sink was removed and granite around two counters and behind the sink was replaced. John put in a great country kitchen sink, new garbage disposal, new soap dispenser, and a hot water dispenser. The granite match was excellent as was the entire job that Jonn performed.

> In addition the job came in exactly as cost estimated with no "got-cha" surprises and worked free overtime to come in on schedule. Also he was very tidy and cleaned up after himself so that the new work was shiny and clean when he got done.

We consider these guys craftsmen.  When we lived in L.A., we experienced contractors at their worst, but Jonn is the exact opposite and gets the job done, usually with a smile.  We will post photos of their work when it's completed and are very pleased we hired J. C. Construction.  We would not hesitate to recommend them in the Paso Robles/San Miguel area.

Decking and railing colours?

A: The colors are a Trex Trenscends "Vintage Lantern" . The rails are a powder coated hollow core steel in gloss black.
