Since 1992 North Prairie Tileworks has created handmade tile with an emphasis on Arts & Crafts and Craftsman styles, while also producing beautiful modern styles for clients who appreciate a handmade look and feel. 

We work with designers, architects and homeowners to personalize homes with custom tile and functional art for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplaces and floors. 

Unique features include custom field tile sizes at no extra charge, allowing a bespoke fit for the client's available space and few, if any, field cuts needed during installation.  Custom-sizing allows the client to achieve a refined & deliberate look and also allows glazed edges to be maintained by minimizing cuts during installation.

I love this, but wonder about its size.  Also, do you know the width of the stove and hood?

A: It's a house in the western states, the install was probably over a decade ago.  So unfortunately we don't have any info on the hood.

A: And to answer your question in better detail: this is a 3x6 subway tile in our \#190 blue, including an accent band in our 3x6 Chinese Lattice relief tile.

What colour glaze is this tile?

A: The dark glaze on the tiles framing the hearth and at the top of the insert is our \#508 Stock Grey and the blue tiles are variations of our \#321  Light Cadet.
