**Q: Nursery question, WINDOW** *(in Design Dilemma)*

This is the nursery. Obviously still the guest room but painted. Getting carpet, etc. My question is, what should I do with the window? Obviously were going to get rid of the brown shades. But should I just do blinds, roman shade, curtain?

The curtain question is, would it be beneficial to hang a high curtain to make the room appear longer, or would it shrink the room?

A: Very nice! Just be sure to shorten the cords to a height that your kids can't reach them.

**Q: Need Help with window treatments** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I  need help choosing style , color , pattern and fabric for window treatments for my master bedroom

My room currently consist of :
Duvet Serena Lily Tess ( dove gray  & white damask )
Sheets - Mocha trellis contrast pattern and color
Paint color - benjamin moore winter lake with white woodwork trim
I would like to soften the blue and gray with a linen color window panel , im just very unsure of myself
Ive enclosed photos of bedroom , bedroom paint color, bedding patterns 

any advice would be appreciated pattens , colors, etc...

A: My suggestion would be a knife-pleat or hobbled Roman Shade in a nice soft sheer fabric in a color to match the white in the room. This will make the window a very soft feature of the room, allowing a lot of beautiful natural light to come in the room. I would couple the shade with a nice ring top drapery in a fabric that speaks to you and complements the design of your room. I have attached a photo that, while different from your style, will show you what I mean.

**Q: Need help figuring out window treatments** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My house is full of beautiful windows, but I have no clue how to dress them Please help me figure out what type of treatments to use in the master bedroom, kitchen and den. And also advise on the most cost affordable way to get them done. Thanks so much in advance!!

PS. 1.The window treatments hanging in the the kitchen were there when we bought the house and we are painting the ceiling to cover where we replaced the light fixture. 2. There are 2 skylights in the kitchen area where the table is located

A: I'm sure you have long since decided on what to do for these windows, but my suggestion would be Plantation Shutters in a white that matches your pre existing trimwork.
