> Several years ago I purchased about about 1000 sq. ft of natural walnut plank for my family room. Menlo has an extensive selection of wood flooring, which made the selection a bit overwhelming, but Eugene (the owner) provided detailed information on their various  products and design to help us make an informed decision.  They also handled the installation, continuing their attention to detail---including the behind the scene work necessary for a high end floor.   They installed moisture barriers in the crawlspace, and brought out the wood several weeks in advance so that it acclimated to the humidity of the room.  The planks were of varying lengths, and the installers spent considerable time laying them out in a manner to avoid seems and create a random look.  The finished floor is gorgeous, and looks as good today as it did 2 years ago when it was installed.
>    Since then, we have used Menlo to help us select about 1500 sq. ft of ceramic tile as well as a similar amount of carpet.  In both cases, Eugene was instrumental in helping us choose just the right product for our needs. He had no issues working with our decorator, but as a flooring expert, he knew which products would work for our needs, while the decorator helped choose the final colors.

what kind of lighting is that under the stairs?

A: Hello Jesse, 
This is Recessed Stair Lights. A Channel Along The Bottom of The Stair Step is Drilled Which Allows For An LED Strip To Be Installed Underneath.

A: Thank you! These are 7" Width planks and this is a Fumed French Oak, meaning the color goes all the way through.
