Where is the rug from

A: Unfortunately as the builder I have no information on the rug or where it was purchased.

What tile is used here? Thank you!

A: Hi Kristin,

Nothing to challenge-that's the tile installed in this shower! Photography and lighting conditions have a way of distorting colors and reality. I hope you have the occasion to use it, it is a spectacular tile!

We also used it as a wall backdrop to the stand alone master bathtub, you can find the photos on our Metropolitan Custom Homes portfolio page. This master bathroom and home was recognized by the Austin Society of Interior Designers- Austin Design Excellence 1st place, the ASID Austin Design Excellence-Best in Show, The Home Builders Association of Greater Austin MAX Award for Best Custom Home Product Design in its price range and the Texas Association of Builders STAR Award for Best New Custom Home in its price range.

This was a great project, I had a distinct vision for the home design perfectly executed by Cornerstone Architects. The clients also had a very focused look they were trying to achieve, Stephanie and Jessica of Etch Design Group were the perfect fit.

What is the name of the tile in the bath?

A: Thank you for your question. The tile is from the AlysEdwards Tile and Stone Elecdrix Collection, the 4" hexagon mosaic in Machine Gun Metal. This bathroom recently won 1st Place at the American Society of Interior Designers 2017 Austin Design Excellence Awards.

about how much would this custom home cost?

A: Hi Beth Ann, 
As constructed, this home cost approximately $250 per square foot to build in our local market. Many variables go into that cost, specifically site conditions such as topography for this particular project. This home also features Geothermal and other "Green Building" systems that increase the initial cost but pay for themselves over time.

A: Thank you for your question, the soffit was stained in a clear coat.

amazing!  How high are these ceilings?  who makes range hood?  Awesome kitchen! wow!

A: Thank you for your comments, we appreciate it! The ceilings are 12' in height, the range hood is a Wolf 48" Pro Chimney Hood with a Wolf 1100 CFM inline blower and custom hood extension.
