We had Chris out a second time to review and finalize the plan. Steve and his crew did a great job with the install working with us to insure everything met our expectations. This included complete removal of a tree, removal of old shrubs and plants, installation of new beds, new plants, irrigation changes, new hardscape on side yard and new sod on new topsoil. The removal and install took 3 plus days. We are very pleased with the results. We started with an irrigation system, a couple of live oaks and a handful of shrubs provided by the builder. We ending with a beautiful setting which enhanced and framed our pool. The owner, Chris, provided a hand-drawn colored landscape design detailing each and every item to be installed, which included irrigation modification, water feature, foundation landscaping, fence-line landscaping, landscaping to frame the pool, a rock border around the existing front bed and enhancement of the plants in the front bed. Jen was efficient at responded to multitudes of emails from me with questions or requests and customer service went above and beyond. After putting some plants I had reviewed into the ground, I changed my mind and Chris's son, Tod, was gracious in replacing them with another color for no extra charge. He also stopped by several times to take care of the plants during the process, adjusting the irrigation schedule during the massive spring rains and hand-watering to remove gunite overspray from the pool installation, all without being asked. The company that did the pool recommended CJ's for the landscaping work. We had already purchased some large palm trees and some plants that we intended to have another nursery plant. However, after meeting with Chris, we decided to do more extensive landscaping and he integrated those plants into his design. When the other nursery attempted to plant the palm trees, they failed miserably, and Chris's team had to step in and help them. If not for them, the trees would not have even been staked properly. The work is complete now and the backyard is a work of art due in no small part to the landscaping work that CJ's did. My wife and I were just married in the backyard and everyone was raving about the landscaping.
