I'm a Contemporary Abstract Expressionist Painter & Sculptor. 

Through my paintings I explore the bond between the physical and spiritual worlds through the power of light. Much of my work incorporates oil paint on a sculptural base. 

Each artwork investigates the energy of eternal light, that can heal & inspire all of us. We only need to recognize it around us and within us. I hope my work inspires others to find and share that light. 

More about me: I have been an oil painter for forty-eight years. I grew up in Ridgefield & currently I live in New Milford located in the Litchfield Hills of CT. My work has been shown in art shows through out the Northeast, but I often show along the shoreline in the summers & participate in show on the East End of Long Island, NY.

My quest: To investigate and experience the connection between our physical and spiritual worlds.

- I will hand deliver my original oil paintings to your door in the Tristate area. The majority of my work is on gallery wrapped canvas omitting the need for framing
- unless for esthetic purposes.  Framing is arranged through our local farming professionals when requested. Limited edition prints on canvas are available on request and are signed an numbered

**Q: This painting is referred to as an original.** *(in Product Questions)*

This painting  - is it an original or a print?  It says original but then tells how many are left?

A: Well it's a good thing we took it out of the studio to photograph today in the sun light during a break in the rain & clouds(Full size)  
I just realized I went back to it and forgot to re-photograph it this winter after I painted in more color.

I'm open to changing it back if you feel the green was what you were going for.  Sorry about this- I rarely do that once we've gone through the process of getting it online.

Can't decide which picture. I like the trees but the dimensions aren't right above the sofa.  The flowers picture is long enough whereas the trees is more square and looks like it needs something else with it.

A: A room should flow around art.  Not the other way around.

A: Thanks I will look them up. It sure is tuff to make connections these days here. This sounds like a good plan.

**Q: Need ideas in great room** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We just moved in to a new house. I'm looking for ideas for this awkward wall and ledge. We plan to replace carpets and eventually do stone work up the fireplace. My question is what do I do with the spaces on either side of the fireplace? I extremely dislike how asymmetrical it is. I would love to have built in shelving on both sides but can't cut in to the ledge wall without taking square footage out of the master bedroom on the other side. Any ideas big or small are appreciated

**Q: Dark den - needs help!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Our den is so dark, the only window was removed when sun room added.  I'm going to whitewash the fireplace.  Any ideas for paint colors or how to lighten it up in here?

A: Or you could add a large wide work of art above the mantle that is light.  Then you would not need to white wash it.
