The first order is still missing 6 doors, even though I paid it in full. They haven't told me anything about the missing doors, only that they will check. Also, they have not given me any update about second order, which I placed more than 28 weeks ago and paid 50%. Although his is slightly bigger in size than mine, Rob created a configuration that would work for me. After some adjustments based upon how are use the closet I ordered the clear pine finish. Installation seemed to be straightforward, as I was assisting my son in this install. It created more space than I had before. Quality in the system of the engineering and the actual solid wood product is a feature of this that I appreciate. I originally had one of those wire rack systems. I neglected to order the wall anchors on my initial order, but when I called their offices Lynn was very helpful and is sending them to me. Still reloading it and I am finding the ability to move shelf heights easily a big advantage. I would recommend the system if you are considering upgrading, **★★★★★ — HU-902640682, April 2023** > Lundia is the superior shelf/closet product. Made in the USA out of solid wood and incredibly sturdy, whereas most of the competition is MDF based. We have metal stud walls in Florida so hanging shelves or hanger rods is not a good idea. Lundia's shelf design is based on floor loading and you can have any combination of drawers, shelves or hanging combinations. You will not be disappointed with their product or the customer service. **★ — HU-451370558, Dec. 2022** > Ordering was easy. Hand sketched a design and sent to Lynn and she made some helpful suggestions and sent back a final design. Ordered on Oct 19, 2021, hoping to have by Christmas, which was not guaranteed by Simple Closet/Lundia. In mid-Jan, on a Friday, received notice from FedEx that delivery would be the following week, when I would be out of town. I drove 30 miles one way that night to the FedEx facility to pick up. I specifically told Simple Closet/Lundia that I needed to be notified before shipping, as I traveled a lot, which they did not do. Shelves/drawers were well packed and there was no shipping damage. A number of the shelves were warped, which Simple Closet/Lundia replaced without question. Turned out the drawer layout I sketched and Simple Closet/Lundia finalized and sent back to me doesn't work due to bracing in the frames. After several emails back and forth, Simple Closet/Lundia ended up sending new drawer fronts two different times. Had to remind them to send them after waiting a month the second time. Even with the new drawer fronts, spacing was incorrect and I ended up cutting the fronts down and staining myself. What isn't obvious on the website is that they glue pieces of wood together for the drawer fronts. On my 9-inch drawer fronts, 7 pieces of wood glued together leading to inconsistent grain and stain. 8 months from when I ordered to when I received final parts. If you want to have lots of hassles, pay a price that is nearly the cost of a custom closet, and wait months and months for delivery, this is the company for you **Comment from Lundia USA Toxic Free:** > We take great pride in creating happy clients. If and when we fall short, we will do whatever we can to make it right for our customer. We are not sure who this specific customer is, but saddened to see that they were not happy. It sounds like we did try to make this right for them. Like any company, we can make mistakes. If and when we do, we will always do our very best to correct the issue. Creating closets made out of real solid wood construction is significantly more difficult and time consuming than particle board closets. Our closets will have twice the number of parts of comparable melamine/particle board closets. Our solid wood drawer fronts are in fact made up of solid wood pieces. Natural wood can and will have varying characteristics. And double check to make sure you have all of the components needed. Lundia skimps on the nuts and bolts and forgot to include the finishing nails on my system. We always welcome comments that can be catalysts for improvement. We receive rave reviews from our customers about the ease of installing our shelving. While we do provide installation how-to videos to assist customers with the main components of our solid wood system, there are some new products in our line that are not highlighted in this manner. Doors and backs are new enough and do not yet have accompanying installation videos. As we further incorporate these parts into our main line, videos will be produced and available to assist with assembly and installation. Presently, we also provide live customer service during regular business hours and an email option after hours for any of our customers that need assistance that we can offer. > Along with installation assistance and instructions, we have no qualms about providing replacement hardware to our customers that find these items missing. Although noted in your review, we provide all necessary parts and pieces for assembly. If there is an oversight and something has not been included or is lost, customers can always contact us for replacements that are sent out as quickly as possible. > Thank you again for your purchase and comments. Looks simple when you see it all together, but this solid wood closet has the intricate details that made it come together without frustration and without duct tape. The cost is around the same or not much more than the Ikea Pax system which is pressed wood. The only problem I had with assembly was that they forgot to send 8 essential screws (the only thing missing and considering how this thing is made, that is impressive!), but even they were easy to find at Lowes (meaning someone at Lundia considered the need to have universal and easy to find screws). I mean, they even sent shims for the drawer front placements (which, I used incorrectly as you can see in the pic by the slight gap on one side of the system).
