I first learned of Waterwise when I realized our home in Irvine actually had very hard water and we had a pipe burst and many of our neighbors pipes were also bursting from the hard water in the area. I was surprised to learn how hard the water actually is in Orange County. For this reason, it prompted me to get a water softener. I researched so many places through Yelp and got quotes from multiple 4 and 5 star places (Waterwise was a 5-star). The reason I went with Shawn/Waterwise was because of his amazing responsiveness, consultative nature, and customer service. He was very patient in explaining how the units work, talking through options, etc. Our install was flawless. His installer (cannot recall his name) was efficient and fast. Not only did this give our pipes a break, my skin and hair got so much softer from the soft water quality. This was about 7 years ago. When we moved to our new home in Orange County 2 years ago, again I used Waterwise for our new home's soft water unit. It was a similarly great experience. Additionally, Shawn installed a RO (Reverse Osmosis) unit under our sink, as well. This unit made our drinking water sediment and chlorine free, and put minerals back into the water. He was very knowledgeable about the products and water treatment solutions. He explained the many options very clearly and set realistic expectations. There was no pressure or up selling at all. During the installation of my water treatment unit, his team pointed out that my main pipe did not have water pressure valve installed. It was a shock to me because I didn't even notice and it potentially could have cause major pipe problems. He could have resolved the issue by installing one, but suggested that I called my builder first.
