Everything from planning to execution was seemless, professional and easy. He brings a wealth of knowledge, plus a creative eye to his designs. He listens to his clients and therefore is able to come up with a plan that meshed perfectly with my desires. He is always present on the project, always checked on the installations, and is very flexible about changes and pricing. For up to a year after the project was completed he would stop by to see how everything held up and was growing. The issue was a 2-tiered garden with a grassy slope just past a retaining wall, too steep to comfortably reach the upper level. Ryan came with recommendations from my real estate agent and when we met and talked about my ideas - turning the slope into beds filled with small shrubs and perennials and installing organic-looking steps to lead up to the upper part of my garden - he immediately 'got' what I was looking for. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful, and over the course of multiple drafts, we quickly came to agree on the final version. I had a vision of what I wanted everything to look like but knew that I could trust Ryan's expertise and therefore heavily relied on him, especially when it came to selecting plant material that would grow best in my garden's microclimate. That being said, Ryan was always sure to ask me for my preferences and thoughts on everything along the way. It was important to me to work with someone I could connect with and Ryan and his team wonderfully fit the bill. Everyone was experienced, paid attention to the tiniest of details, and was very friendly and conscientious - there was never a loud word, blaring music or carelessness. Now that the project is complete, I could not be any happier! My garden looks truly amazing: I can say that Ryan and his team of dedicated and hardworking men and women completely transformed my backyard, and it is even more beautiful than I envisioned it. I can't wait to see everything come to live again in the spring!
