> Company is a nightmare.. incompetence, poor management, unethical business practices.

> I signed with JFC Pros on July 2023 to build a basic deck. The company violated Massachusetts law (Massachusetts General Law 142A - Required Contract Terms In A Home Improvement Contract) by requiring 60% of the total project cost upfront, when the law clearly states no more than 1/3 is allowed. They also failed to set a timeline or purchase all materials prior to starting the project, as required by MA law. Despite paying 90% of the total cost, and only the frame being completed, I had to chase JFC Pros to purchase the decking and pergola materials. Ultimately, the pergola materials were never delivered.

> The project was riddled with poor craftsmanship and electrical issues, dragging on for months. JFC Pros refused to replace deck boards damaged by their crew and, against my consent, attempted to recycle compromised deck boards by cutting around the damaged sections. I refused to accept boards cut and installed at haphazard lengths, which of course would look terrible. After eight months of frustration and their refusal to purchase new material, I had to seek legal representation and file a complaint with the state. JFC Pros refuses to own their mistakes or correct the poor work by their subcontractors. Don't make the same mistake--avoid JFC Pros and save yourself paying more than double the total project cost to get the job done right by another vendor.

> Project projected by JFC to take 4 weeks, started in early April 2023 to replace railings and decking on a farmers porch, add a ramp and repave a front walkway. Also asked to run electric to an outside car charger.

Messy, hazardous conditions just left for weeks. Avoid this company if you actually want to work with a company that communicates well, provides updates and completes the job in the estimated timeframe.

By using Joe we were able to get exactly what we wanted within our budget AND finish earlier than he quoted (which was already faster than every other contractor)! Joe was very responsive right from the start when I requested he come out and give a quote. He scheduled an appointment immediately and turned around a quote in a couple days with very reasonable pricing. We knew basically what we wanted in terms of layout but Joe was very helpful in planning out all of the details and making the entire process really smooth considering the amount of work that was needed. One thing that is unique about Joe is that he doesn’t nickel and dime over changes and whenever we would ask for changes he would always have the attitude of what would be the best outcome for the project and be upfront on pricing if it was a significant change or in many cases just make the changes for free. The work they did was fantastic and he has a very talented team. Fernando on his team is really creative and talented and did a lot of the finishing touches on our job that took the look of our house to the next level. We couldn’t be happier with the work and working with JFC was incredibly easy and enjoyable. We honestly feel like we got a designer grade house for an affordable amount thanks to JFC!
