This involved taking down a half wall, building up new walls, and installing new doors and a closet space. Andre was great with communication from start to finish, and very considerate of our home's needs. I appreciated that they put down things on the floors to step on while they were doing work to keep things clean, and they also mopped and cleaned the floors of the spaces they worked in. They finished the job in a timely manner, right on schedule. Andre was also very kind and considerate. Andre and his team (Brandon and Luka) were amazing to work with. Upon understanding our situation, Andre went out of his way to expedite our start date. The care they took with our home (I.e. meticulously covering the hardwood stairs to the basement to avoid damage during the work) and the attention to detail was outstanding. We were very pleasantly surprised. > > The only budget overage was for additional work required when a wall turned out to be weight-bearing and to contain duct work. There was no way of knowing until the wall was opened, and we had been warned ahead of time of the possibility. The additional charges were reasonable given the work involved, and the workers stayed on the job for most of a long weekend to keep the project on time. > > The project was a couple of weeks late overall, but delays were not the fault of Home Creators. They did their best to make up time and work around delays beyond their control.
