Joe met with us, took our initial idea and created a yard that captures the modern aesthetic of our Eichler home. Without him, small but important details would have been missed like pebble strips in the driveway, the honed cement block walls, and the simple cut out for the front fountain. Each is a small or simple item, but those details help make the project. We loved the front yard plan so much, we also had him do our backyard. And it is just as spectacular. People drive by our house and stop to look at the yard. Joe made sure all our concerns were addressed from drainage to the color of flowers. We gave him our budget and he stayed within it while providing a phenomenal project. His construction crew were also great to work with. They showed up on time, they left the site clean each day and kept us up to date on any changes or delays. Joe was at the site often to make sure we were happy with the progress, the plants, the layout, etc. When we did make some changes in the design Joe made the changes quickly, easily and perfectly. If this sounds like we are impressed with Huettl Landscape Architecture we are. Not only does he have a phenomenal design aesthetic, but he has a hardworking, experienced crew that is very capable of executing his designs which in our project included steel troweled stucco walls, masonry block walls, a custom deck, slate patio, pebble tile inset strips and 2 custom water features.
