She was a true partner to us as we set about redecorating our living and dining rooms, master bedroom, and guest room. We gave Jane a sense of our needs, style and budget, and she did all of the legwork and research providing us we great options from furniture and fabrics to floor coverings and throw pillows.

> Unfortunately my experience with Jane was not a positive one. She is very knowledgeable of furniture vendors and if you're looking for someone to help you shop, can probably be an asset. But if you're looking for someone to provide a comprehensive design plan for a room, help pull together a finished look, or make recommendations for contractors of any kind, I'd advise you to look elsewhere. Hundreds of dollars later, the only changes in my house are ones I handled myself. In almost six months of working together, I never received anything other than a few pictures of incredibly expensive furniture options - none of which were to my taste because Jane did not know how to view any of the Pinterest boards I pulled together for her to reference. Incredibly frustrating, especially given how Jane presented herself initially. Ultimately, I chose to terminate the relationship, even though I knew I would be out the money I foolishly paid up front. It was an expensive mistake. Hopefully this review can save you from making the same one.

> Having just moved into a new (studio) apartment, I had very simple needs: I needed advice on wall color selection, furniture placement, ideas for a flexible art display, and timeline for future apartment upgrades. I had a two-hour appointment with Jane Mogel. She came to my apartment (arrived on time), and provided many good ideas on all of the above. She also mentioned that a ceiling fan I had (which I hated, but didn't know I could do anything about) would be more effective as a light fixture. I agreed! After one hour at my apartment working on the topics I listed, we made an appointment to meet on a different day to shop for lighting fixtures. End result: I swapped out the ugly ceiling fan for a beautiful light, and my apt looks great. There is a bathroom upgrade in my future (old pipes will need to be replaced) and I will definitely call Jane.
