## Community Q&A

**Q: Can you share the brand and color of the driveway paving stone?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I like the paveway stone as we consider our driveway in Long Island.

A: The style pavers here are called Colonnade.  They are a tumbled brick made to look aged. The color here is called Sandalwood....a 3 color blend. This picture is about an eight foot wide pathway to the back yard. In the front yard of this house there is the main driveway with a more traditional brick.

I really love this look.  These look like repurposed windows?  I'm assuming the glass was taken out?  Also, it looks there are stabilizing chains at both the top and bottom of the windows to keep them secure and not swinging around.  Could you verify, please?  Thank you.

A: Thanks for liking this fun idea. Sorry for the slow response time. Yes the glass was removed from the windows. There are small chains on each side of the top and bottom of windows preventing them from swaying in the wind.  It really gives you an outdoor room feel.  In this case it also doubles for added safety because of the drop off beyond the framing.

A: Unilock Brussels pavers Block, (Coffee Creek color)  Blue stone Brussels block accent brick

**Q: i would like to ask about the name of the tree in the center** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This tree is a tree form limelight hydrangea.  Sorry for the very very slow response time...I just noticed I had never responded back. I guess better late then never:)

**Q: What color Unilock Brussels Block is this?  Thanks!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The brick pavers and fire pit are Unilock Mahogany Ash with Oaks (black) Onyx  accent bricks.

**Q: Please name the plants next to wall** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the name of this plants? Are they fast growing and will they grow in 10 zone? Thank you. They look very nice.

A: These plants are called Tallhedge  Columnar Buckthorn, USDA Hardiness zones 2-7.  We are in Michigan zone 5-6 and they do great here. If you are in zone 10 then I am very jealous right now being its the middle of winter and was -10 this morning.  So the Buckthorn might not work for you but you can always smile about your weather. 
We have used them for several years on many of our jobs in the past.  They are Moderate growing to 10'-15' and ideal for areas that call for a tall narrow hedges and or limited width areas. 
Unfortunately two years ago these awesome plants have been deemed an invasive species in Michigan.  Since nursery's don't sell them anymore we have to use alternative plats for these situations.
