> I highly recommend Jameson Design Group. Amy Jameson and her team did an amazing job getting my kitchen renovation back on track. I started the project with a different designer and I wasn't getting a cohesive feeling with the textures and finishes that were suggested. Amy helped me pick all of the major finishes in one meeting! She also helped redesign my kitchen cabinet layout, proving both functionally better and more aesthetically pleasing. I cannot express enough gratitude toward Amy and her team for saving my kitchen renovation.

> Loved working with Amy! Very friendly and down to earth. She and her team helped us remodel our children’s bedrooms and bath, along with our front enterance. They made the project go as smoothly and easy as possible!

> I highly recommend Jameson Interiors if you are thinking about remodeling or updating your residential or commercial space. Amy and her team recently designed and oversaw the renovation of my residential rental property. The house was completely gutted and remodeled inside and out and two storage rooms converted into livable space. The home is gorgeous and the redesigned floor plan very functional. Amy and her team offered creative solutions for difficult design challenges. They turned a dark and cramped house that hadn’t been updated since the 1970’s into a truly beautiful space. They were very professional and took extreme pride in their work. I plan to use Jameson Interiors again for my next remodeling project.

> No major renovation is without its challenges--it's how one greets those challenges that makes all the difference. Amy Jameson isn't just talented at creating beautiful spaces, she can organize a space, fill it with the perfect furnishings and accessories to make your house a home. However, it's her calm demeanor and seasoned ability to get the projects done in a timely manner and find solutions to challenges that sets her apart from anyone I have yet to work with. She also has a unique ability to understand her clients' tastes and preferences. Within the first few minutes of meeting with her I realized she wouldn't just be redesigning our office space for my husband (and four children) but I would seek her expertise in several projects in the future. Amy is both a detailed orientated professional and joyful person to work with.

> I thought that moving back home to Texas,”Keeping Austin Weird”, was going to be from afar. As a real estate investor, I deal with many residential and commercial entities. I am truly baffled.
> I hired Amy to remodel a midrange home (if it was a car, it would be an Acura) for my personal home. I was upfront in saying that I did not want to price this home out of the market when/if I sell. She stated that “I would not be doing my job if I didn’t”. Great.
> I met with her team the day after I closed to get things started as I had 3 months before I would move into the home. They were truly adorable and knowledgeable and said all the right things. I was so excited to have found them.
> After two weeks, I contacted her to check in and she stated she had a surprise, hang in there. After no word, 4 weeks later, I told her I need something… a plan, some numbers… something… She sent me a few quotes and one was for painting about 3/4 of the interior of the home and the cost was ab $23K. When I expressed my concern and explained that I just paid less to paint the INSIDE and OUTSIEE of a larger home in SoCal (La Jolla), she said prices were not much less in Austin,-- comparable-- and I should expect that (she really said that).
>
> The next day, she sent me a design and quote for a “simple , courtyard” for my pet(s) for $35-$40K. It was WAY OVERKILL for what I told her I wanted. I decided to get some second quotes, so I could have peace of mind and know that Amy was looking after my best interest. I scheduled quotes for 2 stone workers for a courtyard and 3 Austin painters-- 2 by way of suggestion and one random with good credentials. The highest quote came back at 1/3 of Jameson’s price on the paint and less than ¼ for the court yard. Okay, fine…
> I told her that we were on different pages about this project, to please wrap it up as I would not be using her services. She sent me a bill for $5K, with no itemizationJust a bill and said she would return my house key and documents after I paid her bill. Ha! That’s it. I paid her $500 already when she was hired. I feel as if I’m missing something BIG here but, apparently no. K

**Comment from Jameson Design Group:**

> Dear Kate,
>
> We are sorry you were disappointed with our efforts. We always strive to accomplish a clients wishes in the shortest time frame and with the upmost professionalism.
>
> To clarify the painting: the numbers for our painters whom I acknowledged are not inexpensive; do immaculate work. Aside from painting (which we only use non voc, excellent paint), the bid also included refinishing and re-staining all of the interior railings, newel posts, carpentry work on the stair skirting, refinishing & repainting the front door along with painting new doors that were to be installed. We did also offer and bring a second contractor to provide an estimate for comparison and welcomed any alternate bids.
>
> The courtyard request was a combination of two courtyard areas. A custom stone and wrought iron railing, accommodating new electric for lanterns and re-working all existing sprinklers; a custom stone bench and table, new landscaping for the area and new pavers connecting the also new gated secondary courtyard for the dogs. The first pass was too expensive and we sent it back to have it modified. We were in the process of coordinating the final design with you and also receiving competitive bids.
>
> We are always open to competitive bids (this is how we sometimes find great artisans!) but making sure these items are bid in an apples to apples comparison; not only with quality of finishes but your requested scope of work can sometimes result in misleading numbers and unhappy customers in the end.
>
> The invoice being sent without it's itemized attachment was simply a result of a computer error; which was rectified that same day when you informed me that the attachment was not in fact attached.
>
> As for returning your items prior to receipt of payment; Documents created by our team would be sent after receipt of payment; as I am sure you understand. We were happy to return your keys and items you provided us even requesting if it would be easier to coordinate with a local acquaintance.
>
> We truly wish you the best in your move and would be happy to review any of the bids you received to make sure all of the elements you were requesting are actually included. I would hate for you to be disappointed.
>
> Kind Regards,
>
> Amy

> Amy Jameson was AMAZINGLY helpful to me on my eleventh hour of a remodel. I had picked a lot if colors and tiles, bit just couldn't feel settled about my choices (Would I regret them later? Did they work well together? Etc.) I finally decided it would make sense to pay someone fir their expertise and for my own "peace of mind". And boy, was I right!! I only wish I had hired Amy earlier in the process and saved myself a TON of anguish! It was some of the most 'well spent' money on the whole house.
> She was relaxed, confident, knowledgable, respectful. She listened to my ideas, got a sense if what I wanted (asking things like, "Who will you be seeing as clients?" when choosing colors for my home office), and being patient as I wavered back and forth on ideas.
> She was methodical in her approach to getting at the best solution for each room and accessory. My youngest son is eternally grateful to her for telling me, "Personal space, they get to choose the color." When I was aghast at the color he wanted for his bedroom. I listen to her, let him have that color, and lo and behold, it's my favorite color in the house!
> She took the time to find out how each space would be used and how we wanted the space to feel. She was not afraid to tell me diplomatically, that my choice might not work so well, and suggested fantastic alternatives, that her trained eye could see, but I couldn't.
> She knows the community well and knew just where to take me or send me to find the perfect tile, paint, countertops, drawer pulls,... everything!
> We LOVE the way our house looks and feels, and I am forever grateful to Amy for her skills and brilliant thinking. She's a master at what she does! And reasonable.
> I recommend her to anyone who is taking on a remodel or just wants to make some small changes.

**★★★★★ — Hope Lochridge, Nov. 2015**

> The team took my mid-century ranch style home and recreated the inside so that it feels brand new! Excellent recommendations for flooring, paint colors, windows & doors, cabinetry, hardware, and lighting were made within the range of my limited funds. Both the designers and their subcontractors were pleasant and up beat at all times. Company owner has keen eye for detail and stays on top of the quality of the work.

**★★★★★ — lisa284, Oct. 2015**

> Amy Jameson of Jameson Interiors has worked with us on several home improvement projects. She assisted us in designing a custom metal railing, white oak flooring and trim, interior painting of home, and a custom bathroom cabinet and a custom credenza. On all of these projects, she got the bids and managed the subcontractors. She is super professional, on-time, and on budget, and everything looks beautiful.

**★★★★★ — sharrelson10, Oct. 2015**

> Amy and her crew were professional and amazing! They re-did our new office, and it looks amazing! The art and furniture that were provided were perfect, and mesh so well with our business. She stayed within budget, even though our office does not look like it!

**★★★★★ — Moore Supply Co. \| BK Showplace \| Austin, Aug. 2015**

> I've watched Amy and her team create many beautiful spaces for their clients. As Jameson Interior's primary plumbing fixtures supplier over the past 5 years, I can confidently and enthusiastically recommend her to anyone in need of a designer! Amy's professionalism, attention to detail and pristine design taste make her a great choice for any project. To top it off, she is always focused on the functionality of a space to best fit her clients' needs. You can't go wrong with choosing Jameson Interiors!

  - Description: This remodel embodies the goals of practical function and timeless elegance, both important for this family of four. Despite the large size of the home, the kitchen & laundry seemed forgotten and disjointed from the living space. By reclaiming space in the under-utilized breakfast room, we doubled the size of the kitchen and relocated the laundry room from the garage to the old breakfast room. - Description: In an area of town where most old houses are torn down to build big modern boxes, we had the pleasure of completely restoring this craftsman bungalow to it's original glory and beyond. This home was in bad shape when we started the design process, but with a lot of hard work and care, we were able to restore all original floors, ceilings, windows & siding. We uncovered original shiplap siding on most interior walls. We were able to re-configure layouts in crucial rooms (kitchen/dining and bathro…

Our goal was to remodel all areas, expand kitchen/living space, and design a large master suite that blends seamlessly with the rest of the home. By moving the exterior wall to the patio out two feet, we were able to create an open kitchen/dining/living space in perfect proportion for this mid-century style home.
