Our first two projects, were over 10 years ago, when BB&R was in it's infancy. The first was an emergency situation and Kevin was first to respond. The second was a complete exterior refinish (roof, doors, siding, etc). During these two projects as a pregnant stay at home Mom, with a toddler at home, feeling comfortable with the people in and out of my house was almost more important than the work itself. Overall, stayed on top of things and consistently communicated target dates and progress reports. Provided the option of a flat quote or time and materials billing. The fireplace dominated for all the wrong reasons, the television was exiled to a corner, and furniture floated without direction or purpose. Nothing anchored the room. Nothing aligned. The result felt visually chaotic, acoustically hollow, and disconnected from the stunning waterfront setting it occupied. The Solution We approached this as a full design intervention, not a decorative refresh.
