> At the outset, let me say that I had high hopes for the landscaping job for which I had hired them. I really wanted to be able to leave a 5 star review at the end of it all. Unfortunately, the job was over before it began. They certainly seem to know their craft, but it is the business/administrative side that needs some real work.

> They gave me a written quote for just under 20k to sod my entire yard. The quote very clearly said that "this quote includes the price of sod, soil, and labor." I agreed to move forward. The owner showed up to collect 50% payment and I paid him. Three hours later I get an e-mail from office staff saying:

> "I just wanted to confirm that the check we picked up today was for labor only, as the quote incorrectly states that the price includes sod and soil3. I do believe we have had a conversation regarding this, but I just wanted to confirm you were aware."

> Of course, this was the first I had heard of it. How did the owner not notice this, especially when he was at my house and the estimate was right in front of him as I stroke him a check for 10k?

> I promptly canceled the job and was quite disappointed because I felt like they were either trying to pull one over on me or they are just sloppy.

> I think it is probably the latter. There was other evidence of sloppiness during my back and forth voice mail/e-mail exchanges with the office person. The could not seem to clearly and completely answer simple e-mailed questions.

> Intrinity Landscaping performed a complete rework of my yard lawn areas. This included removal of existing sod, adding supplemental amendment to existing soil and installing new fescue sod in all lawn areas. They are extremely knowledgeable and conducted themselves in a very professional manner throughout the entire process. Nick is the owner of Intrinity and worked everyday with a helper to complete this project. He does not just dump some workers off and leave like a large percentage of landscape companies. My lawn was originally installed by another lanscape company that did just that and it was the worst job ever. My lawn was only 5 months old when we had to have Nick replace it. It is now a beautiful, lush lawn.
