I described a general concept for the objectives, and expressed a particular interest in drought-tolerance. Tom listened well, applied excellent creativity, delivered on time, and has a wonderful easy going style, while showing great passion for his work. Especially notable was that he went above and beyond by carefully mapping the entire property, which exceeded my expectation but contributed to his (and my) understanding of how the project area fit into the overall property landscape. Based on his initial design, I chose him to continue with the next phase. I found his ideas refreshing, his style most pleasant, and his commitment outstanding.
