The Truadditions team handled all aspects of the project, i.e., drafting of plans, permitting, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and a new concrete slab. The Truadditions team ran interference with the city to make it happen. Rene and his crew did a fabulous job and were extremely pleasant to work with. After getting quotes from no less than a dozen companies our decision was very easy. No other company we spoke with had anywhere near the knowledge or expertise that Chris and his team at Tru Lofts had when it came to our high ceiling addition. After reading their reviews on Houzz we decided to get a quote from them. What initially started as an idea to convert our high ceiling into open loft ended up being an additional bedroom with a technology center at essentially the same cost. We provided an idea for what we were thinking and after taking measurements of our home they came back with a design that far exceeded our expectations. Since they specialize in high ceiling conversions they were able to give us an accurate quote unlike other companies who wanted us to provide architectural plans before they could even give us a ballpark figure. From the few companies that did give us a quote, without plans Tru Lofts blew all of those out of the water. Converting our high ceiling to living space was far more affordable than doing an addition to our existing structure. Not only do we get to enjoy the space while living in the home, but the increase in home value vastly outweigh the cost of this project. One piece of advice I would give to anyone who sign up with any construction company is to know exactly how you want your project to turn out from the beginning. The more thought you put into your project at the beginning the happier you'll be in the end because you would have communicated what your desires were to the contractor and would leave less room for them to guess because their interpretation of what you want may not be what you want and so if you're not satisfied with something down the line, it may be costly. Thank you!** *(in Photo Questions)* A: This project was a few years back and unfortunately we don't have that info anymore **Q: Where is the gray sofa downstairs from? Its beautiful.** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Unfortunately we did not furnish this room so I do not know any details about the furniture. We designed and built the loft and installed the glass railing. **Q: Lovely pendant lights** *(in Photo Questions)* Where did you get the lights and style or name info pls A: You're going to have to check online for these. We did not actually purchase these. We installed them only **Q: What is the wood flooring used?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: This was an engineered hardwood, however I do not have the brand or color/style in my records. **Q: Coffee Table** *(in Photo Questions)* Is that coffee table the Balustrade from Restoration Hardware? Is it the 60"x40" version? Thanks! A: I'm not sure. This was a room addition we built and we were not part of the furnishings project. I don't think it was 60" though. **Q: Can you share backsplash and cabinet info, beautiful job, I am admired** *(in Photo Questions)* If you share the backsplash name, and model as well as the cabinet colors and stain, that would be great. You have a beautiful job putting all the design elements together. A: Cabinet colors; This was a custom stain...3 layers of dark walnut on alder wood species and 3 coats of clear satin lacquer.
