> My Husband and I purchased a home from Tidewater Homes in March, 2016. Shortly after moving into the home our flooring began separating from the slab. It was caused by excessive moisture penetrating the slab. Over time, the
> problem has gotten worse. Moisture from the slab has also caused excessive mold growth. It is now May, 2018. Tidewater Homes  has not fixed the problem. We retained an engineer who advised us that Tidewater Homes did not place a vapor barrier under the entire slab as required by the building code. .  So as of today May 31, 2018 excessive moisture is still penetrating our slab; our flooring is still separated from the slab; and we still have excessive mold due to the excess moisture. Choosing Tidewater Homes is the worst mistake we've ever made.
