> I just had my countertops installed a few hours ago, and I am over the top thrilled with Counter Culture. My countertops are gorgeous, they were a pleasure to work with in all respects, and their prices were great -- best prices I found. I really liked how Sol (one of the owners) was willing to call lots of slab yards to try to get me a better price, or get me more photos of the particular stone I was searching for to see whether I liked that particular slab. He was also great about listening to what I did or didn't like about particular slabs (the thing I like goes by several names, and even under the same name there is a lot of variation in looks), and then searching on his own to find a yard that had those slabs. An, he knew a lot about the properties of the stone I was interested in and cared about educating me about the pros and cons. I had done that research on my own, and he won me over when he pointed me to the exact articles I had found when I asked him some questions. So integrity, great price, and great service all wrapped up in a small, locally-owned store. My contractor, who I'm also really happy with, is also impressed with them, and I think that's a great endorsement too.

> We have had the pleasure of working with Counter Culture for more than 4 years.

> They are very professional and reliable!

> Kitchen and Bath Counter Tops and Back splash. Had to have installers come out to repair bad seams where they were joined together with sharp edges. Bath sink had a big spot on it at the front edge that really stands out, if it was in the back at least i could have covered it with a soap disperser.
> Used cheap stainless steel sinks that started rusting right after being installed, resl stainless doesn't rust. When complained All they did was clean it with bar keepers and the rust came right back. Complained again and they promised to replace the sink, a month later still waiting no call back, nothing.
> Terrible company would never recommend.

> Counter Culture installed the countertops for the renovation of my kitchen. The staff was very courteous and profesional. I loved the selection of granite and was very happy with the end product. The countertops are what stands out the most in our kitchen. Worth the investment.

> We had asked another company for an estimate for the countertop for our newly installed bath cabinets. We were given a more expensive quote with a less desirable countertop product. With a limited budget I did not think we could purchase the stone that we wanted. We were very pleasantly surprised that the cost was slightly less and included the under-mount sinks. The results are simply beautiful. The company was very easy to work with and completed the job within our required timeframe. We are thrilled with the quality of the work and the beautiful stone that they installed. I would use the company again.

> Excellent customer service,.....Friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the countertop materials and colors they had available, and were patient while I finally selected on the Astoria granite. When contractor called them to come measure they arrived promptly, and a few days later the beautifully cut and polished granite arrived and was professionally installed, and looks amazing! The granite counters were the final touch on my full kitchen renovation and I couldn't be more pleased!!!

> Very friendly, patient, professional, experienced, knowledgeable, informative, thorough, responsive, accommodating, fast, and considerate - all the qualities you would look for in a fabricator. They first educated us on all aspects of counter top selection, including type, characteristics and quality, then recommended a number of slab distributors where we eventually found a specific slice of granite we liked. After stopping by for a laser scan measurement they sent us a diagram and photo, and subsequently cut the slab according to our direction. Within a week they installed it quickly and accurately. They also followed up (after payment) with an inspection and answers to more questions. Could not imagine finding a better place to have done our new kitchen counter! \[No pictures yet as kitchen is still under construction\]

> I had worked with Solomon Bernstein about two years ago so, based on that great working relationship, I sought him out for my own kitchen counters this past summer. What a pleasure he is to work with. Incredible customer service, always ready to help, discuss, set up appointments, measure and install. His prices were the best that we found and between the number of granite/marble suppliers he works with and the ease at which we could pick out our slabs (from literally hundreds of choices) we knew we had made the right decision. Omar, the person who measures, is as precise as can be with computer-aided machinery that measures each point for complete accurate machine cutting of the tops and within an hour had the entire kitchen diagrammed that would allow the computer to accurately cut the tops. After installation, which was flawless, we had the need to round off an edge that was cut correctly, but was interfering with the opening of the french door fridge. The following day, after discussing it with Solomon, he sent his guys out and within an hour as made a radius on the edge which now allows the fridge to fully open. And for no charge even though it wasn't Counter Culture's mistake--it was mine. Given a chance to recommend a counter supplier and installer, I will recommend Counter Culture and Solomon each and every time.

**★★★★★ — nkmote, Sept. 2015**

> I worked with Solomon and his team to do a granite countertop installation with back splash in my kitchen. I received estimates from several vendors, and Counter Culture's price was very competitive. But what I really liked most about working with them was the customer service. The estimator (Omar) spent a ton of time walking me through options, different looks, etc. And Solomon was responsive every time I had a question about the project. The other thing worth calling out is their speed - from the day I received the estimate until the day the counters were installed was 1 week. Several of the other companies I talked to were estimating 3-4 weeks for installation! The installers were fantastic - quick, efficient, and they left the work area spotless.
>
> Bottom line - I had a great experience with Counter Culture and would highly recommend them to anyone considering a similar project. I'd work with them again, anytime!

**★★★★★ — pigaletto, Aug. 2015**

> Our project involved using a single slab of Dekton, one of the newest surfacing materials from Cosentino, as the facade of our contemporary fireplace. This is a somewhat unusual use of this strong, hard, and heat resistant material that is more usually considered for counter tops. It was a complete pleasure working with Counter Culture, and more specifically Sol Bernstein, through the entire project. All measurements were taken by a skilled technician using a computer based program which resulted in a perfectly cut slab. Unfortunately when the slab was delivered and just as it was being installed, it was damaged when a large chip along the bottom edge popped off. My initial concerns were allayed when Sol, at Counter Culture, told me that they would stand behind their work and replace the slab at no additional cost to me. The new slab was installed today and I couldn't be more pleased! It looks fantastic and the installation crew was thoroughly professional, friendly, and had a real "can do" attitude! They placed protective drop cloths around the entire area, removed the damaged slab, installed the facade quickly (and without incident), and vacuumed the entire area when they finished. I recommend Counter Culture as an honest and reliable business and would use them again without any hesitation.

**★★★★★ — Joshua Meredith, Aug. 2015**

> We recently had our counter top, sink and backsplash done by Counter Culture. We worked with Solomon. His team is professional and the project came out well done. The work was fairly priced and the products used were high end. Solomon made himself available on our schedule. He even helped us find an electrician to do a secondary part of the project.
> Would recommend him and the ream to anyone!

**★★★★★ — banewton2, Aug. 2015**

> Our new countertops are beautiful! We are so grateful to Counter Culture for making this process so easy and simple. They are true experts, and the installation was done on time, accurately, and professionally. They really know their product, too, and they were able to help us find the look and durability that we wanted. One of our friends came over to see the new countertops and said “You absolutely made the right choice.” Yes, we did – we chose Counter Culture!!

**★★★★★ — amy\_g715, July 2015**

> Counter Culture did a great job installing my new granite countertops. From beginning to end, the process was easy and the customer service was great! I had a deadline that I needed to meet, and Counter Culture worked with me to make sure that I was happy and that my countertops were installed on time. They also met my budget requirements, and were very friendly and knowledgeable about all questions/concerns I had.

**★★★★★ — UptownDC, April 2015**

> Counter Culture recently completed the installation of Silestone countertops for a kitchen and basement bar. Their team is super great to work with - helpful, fast, responsive. We were very pleased with the selection and the final results and will definitely call on them again for future needs. The showroom is small but they have plenty of samples on hand. Definitely would recommend.

**★★★★★ — llsteele43, April 2015**

> From beginning to end this project went smoothly. Solomon Bernstein was my initial contact and he stayed with me through to the end answering my endless e-mails with questions. He had great suggestions and was very, very helpful. The men that came to install the quartz countertops were professional and nice and the installation went perfectly. The plumber that followed did a superb job hooking up the new sink, faucet and disposal. Everyone left the area as clean as they found it and were respectful of my home and to me. I am happy with the end result and have a beautiful kitchen now!

**★★★★★ — jon4033, April 2015**

> I recently worked with Solomon B. at Counter Culture to have a Carrara marble countertop installed in our kitchen. Sol was great to work with and walked us through all our options. A few days after picking out our slab, Counter Culture arrived for the installation. The installers were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend both Sol and Counter Culture for anyone looking for new countertops.
