> Unbelievably Unprofessional Experience with Finishing Touch Installations (contractor hired through Lowes)
>
> Hey there, folks! Just wanted to share my absolutely mind-boggling experience with Finishing Touch Installations, the contractor I hired through Lowes. Let me tell you, this guy named Dorian took unprofessionalism to a whole new level. Avoid it at all costs.
>
> Right from the start, Dorian's communication skills were non-existent. I mean, seriously, No updates, no heads-up on the schedule, nothing. And when he did finally show up, it was always late start time was usually 11am and they would stay until way past our dinner time.
>
> But wait, it gets better. One of his guys had the audacity to curse at me in my own house! I simply asked if everything would be ready for the appliance installers the next day, and he goes off curses at me in my home. I've never seen such unprofessional behavior in my life. Spoiler alert: it was a disaster. They never did a final walkthrough, nothing, just zero communication.
>
> Here's the kicker. It's been weeks since Dorian and his crew left my house in a mess, and not a single peep from them. No follow-up, no phone call to let me know they finished the job. Nothing!
>
> So, folks, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Finishing Touch Installations. Trust me, you don't want to go through what I went through. Take it from someone who learned the hard way. Spare yourself the headache and find a contractor who actually knows what professionalism means.

> P.S. I did reach out to Lowes, it seems they're going to follow up and contact me next week will update you if they do.

> The staff and personnel of Finishing Touch are the most professional people we have ever encountered. They are so friendly and helpful - not to mention the expert service and attention to detail that they provide. We have used them on several of our projects and would not use anyone else! Excellent - Excellent - Excellent!

> We used Finishing Touch Installations, Inc. for the install of our media wall/ built in cabinets. We are extremely pleased with the design and expert installation. The finished product looks amazing and is everything we wanted! Dorian and his team are extremely knowledgeable and very easy to work with. We would highly recommend Finishing Touch Installations, Inc. and plan on using again for future projects.

> The first project (kitchen remodel) was so successful that the decision to hire Finishing Touch Installations for the second job (bathroom remodel) was one of the easiest decisions we had to make. There were no surprises because Dorian kept us well informed throughout the duration of the project. I liked his creativity as well which allowed him to come up with some customized pieces that worked best in our limited space. They do the job as if they were doing it in there own home, actually probably better. I would hire on Dorian and his team in a heart beat. I have had many people do different jobs over the last 40 years and NO ONE has ever done as well as Dorian and his team!

> Finishing Touch Installations is in the top of it's class, and more importantly a trustworthy company. I have had the pleasure of working directly with Dorian and his crew for many years being a Kitchen and Bath Designer myself. Finishing Touch Installations is an excellent company that strives to fully satisfy their clients. Dorian, the project manager, is extremely organized, incredibly responsive and completely genuine. I have been beyond satisfied with my bathroom remodel, and have received the same response from other projects I have personally been involved with in the past. I highly recommend Dorian and his team. Finishing Touch Installations is the only contractor I will call for any of our future remodeling projects. ” It will be worth the call!

> We used Finishing Touch for complete demo and renovation of both of our bathrooms in our fixer-upper. This included moving walls, electrical, plumbing, etc. To say that Dorian and his team did a great job is an understatement! From the estimate to completion, Dorian was accurate in his predictions, innovative in his ideas, and came up with reasonable and cost-effective ways to maintain our budget while making our bathrooms look high end. Most importantly, if any problems arose, we were confident that what was communicated to us was honest, and that the quality of work was maintained at a high standard. Our bathrooms are looking great 4 years down the line, and we will definitely be using Finishing Touch when it’s time to gut our kitchen!

> They were very professional, their work was clean and precise and the workers were friendly. I would highly recommend them.

> Our project was a kitchen upgrade on a 30 year old house. Finishing Touch Installations was a pleasure to work with and they acted in a professional manner. We included several of their recommendations in our final design. The FTI employees were thoughtful throughout the entire process and we really appreciated that as the project impacted not only our kitchen we had flooring replaced in the laundry room, dinning room, living room and hallway. Working on a 30 year old house can be a challenge and FTI worked well with us on addressing them without increasing the overall cost.
>
> We had a specific timeline we needed to be finished by, and FTI worked with us, adjusting schedules as needed to meet our timeline.
>
> Finishing Touch Installations are a pleasure to work with.
> I highly recommend them.

> Finishing Touch Installations remodeled my entire house from top to bottom. We started with a hall bath and ended up doing all the bathrooms, floors, kitchen, stairway, laundry room, and all doors/woodwork. The entire team was very professional, respectful, and responsive. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and I’m so pleased with my “new” house. I would highly recommend them for their high quality of construction.

> Dorian has done a number of projects for us at multiple locations. On our very first meeting with him, he immediately picked up on an oversight committed by the design planner, one that we had also missed. That set the stage for several years of nothing but positive experiences working with Dorian and FTI. Not only is he an excellent, experienced finish carpenter, but he has an incredibly creative knack for design solutions.

**★★★★★ — Victoria Petersen, April 2016**

> I had a complete overhaul of my kitchen done by this company. Always on time, easy to work with, attention to detail and has licensed workers. I was extremely impressed with the quality and the care done by this company!! I would hire them again if I needed to do so! A+++
