I am CSLB class B-2 qualified, with a remodeler's license pending. I have been building, with varied consistency, for 30 years, but have at least 7 years of uninterrupted work I can validate. Somewhere in those 30 years, I completed a degree from UC Berkeley, and worked as a construction defect paralegal. I can read architectural drafts and know standard residential building code. I am listed as a 'handyman' to keep lead costs down, but I am an accomplished remodel carpenter and tile installer (trim/finish carpenter, cabinet installer, tile setter, flooring installer and painter). I also perform light plumbing and electrical work. Remodel Carpenters was engineered to keep costs low while optimizing quality. 1) I am cross-functional, which eliminates the need for costly and complicated teams of different contractors. 2) I work bid-build (not 'design, bid, build'), with homeowners performing their design. This eliminates pre-construction planning and materials markup. 3) I take ONE CLIENT AT A TIME, and remain on-site until it's done. I love beautifying homes and it shows in my work. Please look at my portfolio, and reach out with questions. Thank you ### Services Provided - Backsplash Installation - Concrete Countertops - Countertop Installation - Countertop Refinishing - Countertop Repair - Countertop Sales - Countertop and Tile Sealing - Custom Countertops - Decorative Concrete - Glass Block Installation - Granite Countertops - Grout Cleaning and Sealing - Grout Repair - Laminate Countertops - Marble Countertops - Masonry - Metal Countertops - Natural Stone Countertops - Quartz Countertops - Quartzite Countertops - Solid Surface Countertops - Stone Installation - Stone Sales - Tile Countertops - Tile Cutting - Tile Installation - Tile Repair - Tile Sales - Wood Countertops ### Areas Served - San Jose - San Francisco - Oakland - Hayward - Berkeley - Richmond - San Mateo - San Leandro - San Ramon - Alameda - Union City - Walnut Creek - Castro Valley - Danville - San Pablo - San Lorenzo - El Cerrito - Lafayette - Ashland - Albany - Orinda - Moraga - Cherryland - Alamo - Emeryville - Piedmont - Fairview - Colma - Canyon ### Typical Job Cost $1,500 - 35,000 ## Business Details | Field | Value | | --- | --- | | Business Name | Remodel Carpenters | | Address | Oakland, California 94603, United States | | Phone | 1234567890 | | Website | https://remodelcarpenters.com/ | | License Number | Not licensed | | Followers on Houzz | 1 | ## Contact - **Houzz profile:** [Remodel Carpenters](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/woodworkers-and-carpenters/remodel-carpenters-pfvwus-pf~1387363918) - **Website:** https://remodelcarpenters.com/ - **Phone:** 1234567890 ## Credentials - **Best of Houzz:** 2 awards (2021–2023), for Service. ## Reviews **Overall rating: 5.0 out of 5 — 4 reviews** *Aspect averages:* - Work Quality: 5.0 - Communication: 5.0 - Value: 5.0 ### All 4 reviews **★★★★★ — Anita Casalina, Feb. 2022** > Zack is amazing. What a find he is! The art of building is literally in his blood, having come from a long family lineage of builders. He's careful, exact, and hard-working. Plus easy to talk with about projects. Highly recommend him! > Anita **★★★★★ — HU-93510656, May 2020** > Zackery does remodel construction, handy-man, and renovation projects. He recently did a patio 'refresh' for my property in Alameda. The brick was overgrown with moss. The work included a power-wash, assembly of some curved benches, planter stands, and bamboo fencing. He came on time, was clean and straightforward. The price was great, and I was happy with the results. **★★★★★ — HU-701332639, May 2020** > I was pleased to learn Zackery will do 'handyman' work as well as entire remodels. He recently fixed a rattling security screen door at my condo, for a very fair price. He was able to diagnose the source of the noise and efficiently - and affordably - remedy it. **★★★★★ — Melissa Burnley, Oct. 2019** > Zachary was great. He totally got what it was I was trying to accomplish in my tiny galley kitchen. I live in a SF Mission apartment with a great layout EXCEPT the kitchen prep area. For 20 years I've fought with myself for counter space before I decided to do something about it. Zach saw my vision, executed it perfectly and a year later it still hold more than strong. I'm so glad I finally found someone that could help me with my small but specific project. It has made all the difference in the world. **Comment from Remodel Carpenters:** > Thanks for that feedback. I'm not here often, but wanted to give this a reply. Cheers! ## Selected projects - [San Ramon Entire Condo Townhouse](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/san-ramon-entire-condo-townhouse-pj-vj~7629178) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 7 - [Lake Merritt Kitchen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lake-merritt-kitchen-pj-vj~4607065) - Location: Oakland, CA - Photos: 3 - [Hardscape Hack](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/hardscape-hack-pj-vj~4606909) - Location: Piedmont, CA - Photos: 5 - [Montclair Striated Italian Flooring](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/montclair-striated-italian-flooring-pj-vj~4606920) - Location: Oakland, CA - Photos: 1 [See all 4 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/woodworkers-and-carpenters/remodel-carpenters-pfvwus-pf~1387363918) --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
