We have traveled a lot and have also blended cultures in our home, and she understood our desire to honor all facets of our home life. She has done a fabulous job interpreting our desires to retain certain pieces of furniture and showed us how to seamlessly blend them with new pieces if we so chose (often painting or reupholstering the older pieces to refresh them). Our rooms have all turned out beautifully! We have redone our living and dining rooms, our family room, our foyer, powder room, and our kitchen and breakfast nook. We are working on our master bedroom. Our aim was to introduce color throughout, and we selected colors that complimented our existing home. Our gorgeous interiors are a true blend of older and familiar, with brand new. We could not be happier with our home or with Anita! It was a carpeted stairway. We spoke with Aliza and indicated we did not prefer the carpeted stairway that already was installed in the new home we purchased and wanted a different look. We made it clear we didn't want it carpeted. She stated what her initial consultation fee was. We agreed. So she arrives at our home with carpet samples! We asked for advice related to options for a new look for stair treads and risers. We asked about changes to the railing and spindles. She told us to go and look at different colored paints and stains and let her know what we thought. She wasn't going to do this for us and lay out her suggestions to guide us! We never heard from her again. Waste of hundreds of dollars! Do not recommend at all! We agreed with a carpetless stair option with another professional and had them redone by a reliable contractor. They look wonderful!
