Putting this review up now - 7 years later - because we had a minor service issue and Steve and the team (the same people) were on it immediately when I called. Turned out to be a routine maintenance issue but the equipment was still running great and keeping the temperature constant (hasn't moved more than a degree in over 7 years). I highly recommend Classic Cellar Design. They do fantastic work, pay attention to detail, and they have the same team after all these years. The project included refacing existing bar cabinets with reclaimed barn wood (white oak), a new cabinet of the same material over the sink, and corner wine racks. We also repurposed a closet into a 120 bottle wine refrigerator, also framed in the white oak (Steve's idea). A highlight to the project (and one we would never have thought to suggest) was the brick backspalsh which provided a unique backdrop to the bar and included an opening for a mural (muralist hired independently). The craftsmen who made up the Classic Cellar Design team were highly skilled, very polite and completed the work in a timely manner. Steve's management of the team was unparalleled. A self-described perfectionist, he provided strict oversight on the project and made routine inspections -- even requiring work be re-done to meet his high expectations.
